First time here and it was super fancy. Great for adults, not so much with kids in tow! Had lunch down the end at the cafe next to the sushi place. Lovely food, but pricey cabinet selection. Coffee was great. Enjoyed the clothing stores. The cinema looked nice too.
Such an eclectic mix. No big commercial internationals. And Beer! What's not to love. Recommended for a nice warm day preferably shared with friends. Food, Beer and a movie? Do it.
We went to The Tannery for the Bloom Bridal Fair evening, it is such a beautiful building, the selection of shops is fantastic. The catering for the evening was exceptional.
A fantastic place to visit very unique and high end shopping Mall . Visited this place so many times with family this is so relaxing specially the view of river From Penny black Cafe is relaxing also enjoyed their hot drinks and specially Orange almond cake 😍 is my Favourite, so many shops for shopping for clothes and other unique stuff quality is superb, went there before 10am shops were not yet open that was a good time to take photos ! Love this place

Nice great area for shopping , vintage building design , very crowded during weekend / sunday / holiday , three food shops / coffee shop / book shops / used & 2nd hand clothing / health food shop etc. and cinema in the mall , big and sufficient carpark , off street parking available .
I always appreciate a high-end boutique shopping experience (for Christchurch standards), and every time I visit, I know I'll find beautiful products to take away.
One improvement I'd love to see is enhanced traffic calming measures outside The Tannery. While I understand it might be somewhat out of their control, it would greatly enhance the overall experience.
