I had a lovely experience at Sushiko. A great vibe, and a really nice selection of sushi and hand rolls, made of the highest grade fish. Also apparently, the chefs were trained at a top sushi school in Los Angeles.

Absolutely amazing sushi!! Super fresh chicken and Salmon, the salmon was clearly a very good type. Lovely people and service. All round kind! Will definitely be returning Added bonus is “sushi points” to get discounts as you go

Amazing food and friendly service in the two visits I made in two consecutive days. Decided to give the place a try yesterday and was back there again today. Authentic Japanese food and at a reasonable price. I’m picky when it comes to food, so was happy to have found yet another place to return to in the future. Nice and quiet place to enjoy a nice meal and catch up with a friend. I’m sure it would be nice to dine alone too, and there are plenty of seats. Would be happy to visit again and chat with the manager, who recommended good food choices especially when it’s difficult to know what to order when everything looks so good.

Absolutely wonderful late night service I ordered salmon avocado and crispy chicken as they were closing the doors and they still made me the tastiest freshest batches of sushi I've tasted in a long time!! I really recommend the salmon avocado made with ora king salmon.

Came in and had an awesome experience! The staff there was fantastic, Romena was the person who served me and my partner. My partner is currently going through chemo and Romena made sure everything was up to our standard with our food because of that! She has awesome customer service! Great place and beautiful food 👍

What a fabulous new restaurant! We had a maki roll, nori fries and donburi and it was absolutely delicious and so well priced. The service was impeccable and I hope everyone gives it a try soon because you’d be missing out on a wee gem if you didn’t. Thank you!

Brand new Japanese Restaurant in Christchurch. Super tasty sushi and fresh salmon sashimi. Apparently it’s Wagyu of the Sea and from our very own Lake Tekapo! Highly recommended!
