Chef Astig definitely nailed our food during our wedding. They catered our canapé, dessert and mains (unfortunately not in the photo). Chef and ate MJ was very professional and easy to approach. They will assist you according to your budget and style. The service was very smooth and they even offered to assist us during the event. Chef Astig has exceeded my expectations. I really recommend them for your special event! Astig talaga!
Me and my husband would always come here after church service for a lunch meal. Their beef pares and buffalo chicken is superb! And it always give us a home feels of Philippines every time we visit their restaurant.

Absolutely the best Filipino restaurant in Christchurch. This is a late review though but I just want to commend ate and kuya for their catering service for my birthday celebration. The communication was superb and straightforward and everything was neatly packed on the day. The food was delicious of course and it was spectacular for the price. Our guests loved every bit of food. I couldn't recommend ate and kuya enough, really. Chef Astig Restaurant is definitely our go-to place for catering!!
You can also come in here for a quick snack, lunch, dinner, or any meal of your choice depending on their trading hours. Very authentic Filipino cuisine xx 🥰
EDIT: I just had Chef Astig's catering services for our Housewarming Party as a return customer. It honestly never disappoints. The presentation, the taste, everything else is so on point that people (even light eaters) could not resist! I know for sure na kapag si Chef Astig ang caterer ng event, never kami mapapahiya sa mga guests. Every guest we had went back at least three times for the food. Thank you so much Chef Adi and Ate MJ! Babalik-balikan ko po talaga ang services niyo. Worth it ang bawat cent sa memorable na dishes and event! 🩷
I ordered the pork liempo on Uber Eats, no regrets. The pork tasted as divine as it smelled and there was a good amount of it, and I don't know what they dressed the salad with but it was OMG good and quite different. This has to be the best Filipino food I've had.
Such a comfortable ambience, reminds me of my hometown. Good choice of Filipino meals and desserts. Will surely return here for more.

By far the best food caterer we've had. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the food was and the presentation was just superb! Not just your regular lutong-bahay food. Chef Astig has definitely raised the bar in showcasing Filipino cuisine and talent. We definitely recommend and will have them again.
