Visiting from Scotland. Friends we hadn't seen fir 40 years live here and too us to this restaurant. Staff really quick and friendly. Pulled pork Pizza a bit disappointing as it wasn't that hot but Kunara fries great. Lauren our server was friendly and despite being busy took 5 mins to take our photos. If we come back to New Zealand we will be back! Anne and Richard

We had a good time at the Kaiser Brew Garden this 10th June - although cold outside, their external seating is nicely heated. Enjoyed their tap beer and fries. Great and helpful staff. Overall nice experience.

Went to Kaiser last night for my partner’s work function and had such an incredible time! In particular I wanted to express how amazing one of the workers, Emily, was. She was super attentive to us, gave recommendations and her energy & attitude was so positive and fun. She genuinely made our night and I’d return again just for her service alone ☺️

Would definitely recommend coming here for a feed and drinks with friends and family. Our food was delish and that Fried Calamari, best Fried Calamari I've tasted in Chch😋 The Fried Chicken wasn't that tender but presentation and other elements to it were good. Pizzas, Salad and Fries-YUM! Enjoyed it here. Would definitely dine here again.
I have lived in Christchurch for over 15 years, I can tell you this is definitely the place to come if you’re visiting. If you live here also, haven’t been to Kaiser and are interested in a new place to visit, I’m sure you would have heard of it.
I have had many very memorable times here but the most recent time I visited stands out.
We were seated in the beer hall area and there was a stag doo party right next to us which was completely fine. Anyway, later the owner came to us and sincerely apologised for the noise and shouted us a round of drinks. I was very touched and thought that was an unnecessary but a very, very nice thing to do! Thank you very much.
Again, this is THE place to come for a meal in Christchurch or possibly, New Zealand. You don’t have to by any means but if you do like beer then that goes double.
Great beer and delicious food in a beautiful setting - what's not to love? Add in your friendly, helpful staff and this place is damn near perfect. We visited twice on our weekend mini-break and loved it. Best calamari we've ever eaten, as others have said! The simple system of QR code ordering made this a very easy place to while away some time.
What a fantastic place to eat. Unfortunately, we ate all the food before I could get some pictures, but rest assured, the pizzas are to die for, as well as the calamari and pork belly. They have a great music selection as well and the staff were very friendly and helpful 👍
