Delicious food and great for a night with friends(in my case, team)! Food a bit more on the pricey side but no worries as it was all yum. Server and the service was great, very friendly and fun, would go back again with the team next time. Karaoke function was also great, main controls are in Korean but they have a help sheet with translations. Plenty songs available too. Thanks Gogi!
Had an absolute great night with my team, and I couldn't thank the staffs enough for a wonderful first-time experience! Karaoke rooms - even the classified 'small ones' are spacious and tidy. Food is great and so are the drinks. Plenty of selections available also. Serving portions are generous that we had leftovers for lunch the next day š¤Ŗ Very great experience with the staffs. So friendly and attentive! Will definitely be back! ā¤ļø
We were at the restaurant twice in a few days of our traveling to Christchurch. The food tasted is way sooo authentic. The price is reasonable for the portions size. And the staffs are very helpful and good at service even though thereās so many ppl but the waiting time is not too long. The asian guy staff(which we donāt know his name as he is super busy with other table) is SOOOO nice even care for every details of our order in both time of our visit. Definitely the best asian food Iāve had in New Zealand.

Nice Korean BBQ with good service nice environment, good quality food and prices. Some dishes need to be more traditional and stay away from the row where the karaoke line goes through.
Really delicious food, loved all the sides/extras that came with the meat. One of the best Korean BBQ places I have been. We went quite early for dinner and the vibe was very relaxed and the staff very helpful and welcoming. My only criticism is the food videos playing all the time is really distracting!
Went to Gogi for the first time and we had a wonderful time!
The food was nice and the male waiter was helpful in explaining how to use the BBQ. Not all the staff knew if the dishes were Gluten free, so it didn't give us confidence as we had to ask every time if the dish was GF. It was stated in the menu the GF options, but seriously it all look like meat so it is hard to know which was which, as we were new to the restaurant.
The set menu was a good idea as we were a larger group.
Overall, had a great time with the meal and karaoke after.
It was rather pricey but since it was a special occasion, it was ok.
Will check in another time to see if this restaurant be on my weekly list.
We came for the Korean bbq and loved it. The seafood pancake was the crispiest weāve ever had (and loved it!) and was incredibly generous with toppings. The sauce they had with the kbbq was also delicious (and unique!). The staff were also great, service was quick and atmosphere is nice.
Probably the best KBBQ Iāve tried!! We ordered a Set Menu for 4 people of the Beef & Pork, & everything was generously portioned. All set menus include accompaniments (bean sprouts, kimchi, salad, glass noodles & some vegetable mix), beef fried rice and Kimchi Seafood Pancake (winner for me!).
We also ordered the Half & Half Fried Chicken, it was delicious!! The original fried chicken was great, but the yum yum sauce on the other half was saucy & juicy!! Great chicken spot āŗļø
Always a great time here singing Karaoke and eating delicious food! The staff here are also extremely nice and offer consistently high service! 10/10
