One of my favorite food places in Dunedin. I've dined in and gotten delivery from them many times and they're always consistent with their quality and flavourful food. All of their baos are absolutely delicious and I'd recommend any one of them. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already!

Dined on a Friday night. The place was about 80% full. It's a small restaurant. Sat at the bar. There was only 1 person cooking and 1 person serving so service was slow but very friendly. Ordered beef soup, broccoli & 3pc bao (duck, pork, chicken) Food was amazing and worth the long wait. Everything was so delicious. my favorites were the chicken bao and the broccoli with yoghurt sauce. so damn tasty. Would definitely visit again.

Great spot for some good bao buns and noodles. We tried the Karage Chicken, Pork Belly and Pekin Duck, my favorite was Pork Belly. 3 for $20 Also, we tried the Taiwanese Beef Noodles $20 and the Pork on Rice $9 (Taiwanese street food) and both were full of flavor and good portion. No photo because we were so hungry and it looked so good They have 3 different local beers on tap and good selection of soft drinks. Staff was friendly and recommended us the nost popular dishes.

Soooo yummy. Such good bao, my favourites are the beef and duck bao. Cheeseburger is juicy but not overly oily, and it comes with a generous serving of fries. The beef tataki is crazily delicious and great value for a beef dish. The interior is really clean and the host is really accomodating to allergies as well. Definitely becoming a regular here.

Absolutely love the food! Authentic Taiwanese cuisine. The Roast tomato and miso ramen, the Narutomen and the Taiwanese Beef Noodle soup are MUST HAVES. The baos are also delicious and the Lu Rou Fan melts in your mouth.

The Bao is definitely watering your mouth, I tried the peking duck and beef. Fluffy texture bao. Taiwanese beef noodle soup is ok, tastes good, and noodle texture is also nice. The So Bao BBQ is an exemption. Their portion is massive. I would say its more for shares. Glaze tofu just ordinary taste, nothing special. I use the first table voucher anyway, so it's way more cheaper. If it's normal, the price will be quite pricey. Service needs to improve, bit wait for the mains. Place are quite small, and noisy.

Ordered 3 bao buns, and 2 skewers, pork rice, burger, coke and a beer. Peking duck in bao was delicious, have had it before and will order again. Pork rice is another favourite. Burger and fries were good aswell, server was very friendly and service was fast. Was disappointed the steak was no longer on the menu. The food here is very worth it at its price

Delicious and quality food! We highly recommend trying the chicken wings, they are one of a kind! The thaiwanese beef noodles were also amazing. The noodles had a sweet yet subtle spicy taste. And the bao buns were amazing - as per usual! Customer service is always great here too.

Small unassuming place, but absolutely banging food. Have eaten a lot of bao buns in a lot of different places, and these are definitely some of the best. The handmade Taiwanese beef noodles were also excellent, and our son loved the cheeseburger and fries. Food came out quick, service was friendly and attentive. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you're getting. One of the best restaurants in Dunedin at the moment!

I'd never been able to try their food truck but glad they have a permanent spot in town now. Perfect, fluffy baos (no surprise given their name!) but don't sleep on the other dishes. The Taiwanese beef noodles and lu rou fan were both spot on; we've been back a couple times and keep wanting to try new things but can never get past the beef noodles 😂
