Lovely venue, cool shaded garden spot, scrumptious food for all tastes, our family love it and smiling service (even on 34 degree days) is top level friendly service, everytime 10/10

Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very efficient. I had a rosebud cocktail and it was the best cocktail I have ever tasted! The calamari popcorn was also delicious and they give out complimentary buns which was a nice touch. My main meal was good however the prawns were quite dry and tasted old.

If you're looking for a relaxed delicious Sunday morning brunch then Brac & Bow is the perfect destination. The breakfast is fantastic, service awesome, and atmosphere vibrant. Good coffee, although it was a bit tepid for me but perfect temperature for my wife and daughter. Not a criticism ... just an observation.

This place is an absolute gem!!! Visited for Brunch on the weekend & wished we'd known about it sooner. Exquisite decor, Food was beautifully plated & tasted divine. The real jewel here however, is their staff, IMPECCABLE service from beginning to end... true hospitality at its finest! Visited Sunday 11th of December, all staff were very attentive... Our main service was from the only woman front of house and based on her incredibly high standard of service we will most definitely be back.

Stopped by for some quick meals, had an amazing burger and some beer. Staff super friendly. The restaurant and hotel have been around for a while and still keep the heritage aspects.

Love the decor and love the food! A gorgeous piano and chandeliers, with gorgeous velvet chairs, a fireplace for colder wintry evenings/days. We started by sharing the Calamari Popcorn, delicious crunchy and subtle flavored crumbed tender calamari. Followed this with the 200g sirloin steak, deliciously juicy, tender and beautifully cooked! While my friend had the French toast which she said was something she would happily have every breakfast (it's on their lunch menu), the caramelized peaches were large and tasty. We ended by each having an Apple Pie (it was a bit of a struggle as we were quite full lol). The apple pie filling had actual apple slices! The cinnamon swirled icecream on top was the perfect touch! The staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend, but be aware go for an early lunch as they close at 2pm or go for dinner, or maybe both!!

Budda bowl was outstanding, the lime herb sauce is devine. The pie of the day was very good. Feijoa kombucha highly recommended. The chocolate dessert was great fun, comes in a smokey jar. Long black coffee with cream on the side. Perfect lunch. Lovely spot, and attentive staff. Don't miss this place. Dinner, wow! The chicken Alexis rated as one of the best restaurant meals she has ever had. My fish was superb, with excellent fresh hollindaise. The new venue at The Royal Hotel is lovely. Excellent staff. Highly recommended. Revisited May 2022. The new Orange Beef Cheeks, and the Orange Chocolate dessert were mind blowing. Caramel Sunday was wicked good too. Get in there. Update June 2023. The risotto was truly great with the fish. Beef cheeks reliably very good , and they always do a really nice steak. Lovely night out. Deservedly popular.

Excellent in all respects. The duck and beef cheeks were excellent. The fries are also worth ordering.

Absolutely 10 out of 10. Service, food and wine was excellent. Very knowledgeable on the superb wine list. Not a long wait for the meals and no pressure to get through the menu. Can highly recommend the duck. Wow. Will be back.
