I came here by myself and looked through their $20 lunch menu, and ended up ordering the tortellini. It was very good, but nothing spectacular. The waiter forgot my order and had to come back to ask me 10 minutes later, and I think it’s a little overpriced for what it is, but it was still tasty.

Am always satisfied with the food I order every time I go there! If you want perfect Italian food, Portofino is the way to go. Also, staff are always friendly and helpful and the restaurant itself is quite nice. Would definitely visit over and over again :) Highly recommend
Ordered the pollo pizza. was excellent. fresh ingredients. taste, texture and smell all was near perfect - served in a reasonable time...friendly and professional staff.
Lovely authentic Italian cuisine! They're much better than their neighbour Italian venue- the pasta was delicious and the pizza was exactly like the pizza I had in Italy- will be back! Staff were lovely too- it was pricey though but well worth it
We dined here to celebrate a special occasion. Great ambiance, child-friendly, staff were friendly and helpful with some menu inquiries, although we waited a fair amount of time to get our desserts and charged us twice on the last dessert they served. However, this was promptly corrected when informed. Had the garlic pizza pane, cheese pizza pane, spaghetti alla bolognese, scalopine al marsala, filleto al vino rosso, panna cota, afogato with liquer and gelato - Vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavours. Both veal and beef were very tender and well-seasoned. The kid’s spaghetti bolognese tasted rich and flavourful and I believe one that I would remember. The vanilla with raspberries panna cota was smooth and has the melt-in-the mouth texture. Out of the 3 flavours of gelato I have tried, I prefer the strawberry flavour. Generally, a great dining experience with the family.
The customer service here was great. The waiter was kind and with the chefs help, catered to our needs. The oysters were average and small but that's because I ordered them in July- middle of winter.
Went to portofino with a group of 10 people and the whole experience was absolutely amazing! the service was great, such friendly staff. the food was delicious and lots of vegetarian options which was great. overall amazing experience and definitely plan to go back there!!
Really nice meals the anti pasto platter is amazing. The spaghetti was nice and the chicken cannelloni is great. Highly recommend. The service was also very good.
Great food, decent ambience.. it could have been more quieter I think... Great place for a romantic dinner with your Bae... food portions were quite big, and worth the money... Staff too was very friendly. Great experience overall!!
We dinned in an outdoor booth which was fun and comfortable. Really enjoyed our yummy meals! Pasta was so delicious, mussels were great! Desserts were also yummy! We also ordered some cocktails too!

I highly recommend the risotto in here, but im just not a fan of the seafood spaghetti. Tiramisu is the best! You have to try it when you come here.
Nice atmosphere! Extremely busy on a Saturday night. Took about 10-15mins for the server to come take orders but that’s algood. Pasta portions are large and rich in sauce so very filling! Thankful they found us a table even without a reservation on a busy night.
Probably the best Portofino I’ve had, the one in CBD of Auckland made me feel sick but this was perfect. Highly recommend this one, especially the Steak
The Toblerone cocktail and cheesecake together are outstanding. Will absolutely be coming back.
Enjoyed a really nice meal, both my partner and I had the gluten free pasta and you honestly could not tell anything was different. The limoncello and port we had after were both delicious. The whole experience was packed with flavour.

My friend and I were walking through town with our doggos. We were looking for somewhere to eat on a cool winter evening and decided pasta was a good option. We called out to the staff to ask if dogs were ok outside and we were told yes and to sit at a particular seat that had overhead heating. The service was excellent. The lovely waitress evening brought out a bowl of water for the doggos.

Our waitress was amazing, all the staff were friendly and easy going. All of our Food was AMAZING! (gluten free friendly too!) Cocktails were awesome! 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be back
