This was a place that I tried towards my last few days in the country and it was one for the liking.... My friend's craving for a good juicy steak is what brought me here and without any doubt the juicy rump steak was of choice.
As the steak came you could see the colour vibrancy in it and as you cut it the meat feels real tender(medium cooked) . It was served with a salad and fries.
They also have signature drinks and the desserts are of a delicious range and the prices tha make your pocket happy.
Breakers is an amazing place to grab an occasional meal or two. I’ve heard a lot about it and wanted to try out the sirloin steak. However they were out by the time we had arrived. We had to settle for the 400g dinosaur steak which is quiet a handful. Steaks are best medium done and though it wasn’t the best steak that I’ve had I’d definitely say it’s worth the money.i would definitely recommend trying out the either the mushroom or the garlic aioli sauce. Moreover the fact that they have half price Thursdays makes it even better.
Also tried out the brownies which were really good.
Had the Sunday roast got garlic bread maybe more garlic thts just personal preference, the roast was nice hot and very yummy side salad was big tasty thn had berry sundae good way to finish a meal. Will be back to visit next time I'm in Hastings cheers 😁 to the friendly ladies behind the bar were helpful polite and service was pretty fast.
Love breakers kids can play the foods always good and and so are the drinks and service. We often have the chicken diane which is always delish. The ice chocolates and coffee are great and its cool to get a discount too.
Ohh what a happening place again comparatively to Breakers napier ... U guys are great,,, food was out of the world service was fabulous it was above our expectations so thankyou and keep it up
Turned up with a group of 11 for brunch, no booking needed. Received the best service and the best food we have had going out in a long time! The meals were huge and everything tasted great! The burgers were to DIE FOR!!! The kids were free and they looked after them well with great meals, a free toy and a good area for them to play in.

Had a Kiwi Burger and chips. It was maaassive and soooo good!! 👌😋Great service!!... Even come to check on us during our meal! 👍🏾 and a cool laidback chilled vibe with primo NZ music playing in the background 🎶🎵 ..love the layout of the restaurant and good location... $16 lunch menu is 👌 ...hardest part isdeciding what to have ..very happy with our choice 😍
The wife and I went here on Monday 18th October. This should be 4.5 stars. We shared a garlic bread starter and I had the Big Mixed Grill. The wife had the Surf and Turf. The ribs were fall of the bone delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly. The wife totally loved her meal. We also had dessert, the wife had the cheese cake and I went for the ice cream sundae. WHAT A GREAT MEAL. Tamsin was the waitress that looked after us and she was amazing, happy and friendly. Thank you.
Nice enough food, but I ordered from the 'light meal' menu. Way too much food.24/12 pork roast no crackling, complained, none left, but they found enough for me. Scraped the dish. Well done, though!

I had a kiwi burger for lunch for $15, it was very big!! I couldn't finish, I'd recommend having it.
I went into the evening expecting to have a few drinks with my friends but the menu was so enticing we ended up having dinner too. The members of staff were so inviting and hospitable it made it impossible not too stay for longer than expected. I was served by crystal and her knowledge of the menu and drinks made it so easy to decide on the perfect meal and drink to accompany it. Not to mention her more than welcoming smile and personality to match. I will be recommending breakers to all of my friends. 5 stars on service!
