This is the best place.. the pies are awesome.. and the donuts are the best I have eaten for ever.!!
Just treated a client to lunch over a working meeting and we had one of your Veggie Patch pies - really delicious with a flavoursome cheesy sauce and tons of veg which still had some bite. Top notch!
A fabulous selection of baked goods both savoury and sweet. Loads of unique pie fillings like Venison and Chorizo. Cakes were quite expensive at $6+ each but very tasty. Fast service. Lots of shaded seating which was appreciated

Gorgeous looking cafe/bakery with the best pies I have tasted bloody yum chicken ratio to the filling sooo dam good.
Ordered the Chicken Roast Pie, Bacon & Egg Pie also Spinach & Feta Roll then we discovered the sweet cabinet and ohhhhh helloo cream donut along with an apple Square slice yummmooo!
Worth the drive from Nelson, was that good we drove back the day we left and ordered some to take back up to Auckland.
10/10 for food, service and bakery itself as it has fantastic indoor/outdoor area.
Best assortment of bake goods - if you can’t find something you like you are just not trying - even a good selection of gluten free!
Obviously I’ve not tried everything but what I have were very good!

Wide variety of fresh baking and bread. Nice coffee, plenty of outside seating with umbrellas, front & back of cafe. Gluten free options & small cakes available.

I went into this lovely bakery one morning and was greeted by a very tall young blonde man, he was exceptionally helpful and helped me choose between the many amazing pies they had on offer. He made me a lovely cuppa tea, (he let it steep unlike many places). He helped me pick the best pies, he also made my partner an amazing coffee, and it was also very well priced (considering their remote location and quality)! All the food there was immaculately presented and service was so polite and informative. Seemed like the staff there really know their stuff and genuinely care about their patrons. I would never complain about paying a fair price for such high quality baked goods. Among other things we tried the seafood chowder pie, roast chicken pie, and steak pie. 12/10 would recommend.
