Hands down best venison burger I've eaten!
5 adults and 2 kids eating and not one complaint or whine about food. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Kid friendly with colouring in stuff to keep them entertained.

Can't beat the amazing coffee, amazing freshly made food and the super friendly staff! Feel like coming here is the highlight of our year in NZ, this will be the only(!) cafe that I will miss when I go home to Germany!
Well presented, well priced, well made coffee. Had a couple of burgers with my wife. Great meal. Interesting NZ bourbon as well. Looking for a bottle myself.
The meal was superb - from start to finish! Attention to an alternative option to a kids’ meal was most appreciated! The adults’ meals were fantastic - from the venison burger to the beef curry with rice. The coffees with the caramel slice ended the meal nicely! Big thanks to the lady who served us with the biggest smile and the chef who was most accommodating! We came to Methven without an option in sight but are going away happy campers with bellyful of warm, hearty food on a cold day!
Amazing coffee, friendly service. Food was sensational, went for the board special and had a fantastic beef burger served inside a home-made black charcoal brioche bun.

Great food. Went for the nutella menu they had for international nutella day, was good, loaded fries with nutella sauce was an interesting combo
