Totally amazing sushi of all types. Freshly made to order with some great assistance from the owner. Some of the best sushi I have had and well worth a trip.

I think Aozora is the best Sushi restaurant in New Zealand. The main Sushi chef Keizo Yamaguchi provides delicious authentic sushi everyday and Satomi Yamaguchi serves visitors in a friendly manner. When I visit last time many local peoples visited and buy their sushi for lunch .

Extremely good service. Had free samples of chicken and fried salmon skin. Everything looked like it was made with care and attention to detail. The sushi tasted delicious. The owner gave my daughters small origami cranes too

Absolutely amazing service!! The lady who owns the shop gave me and my friends some of the best customer service we’d ever received. She gave us a brief history of the main chef and offered samples and was very patient with us while we decided what we wanted. The quality of the food was amazing! You could tell effort was put in every piece. If I were to ever come back to Napier, I would come back for this shop alone.

The best experience I've ever had with sushi. The owner was very informative on the correct way to eat Japanese sushi; the sample of chicken and salmon skin were delicious, and the sushi rice ooohhh to die for! 3 generations of making the sushi rice in Japan, you can definitely tell it was made with skill and love!! The tastiest sushi I've ever had in my 30-year life!! 100% recommend

Great tasting Sushi and super lovely owners. I arrived late in the day and they made to order as there was not much left of the shelf. There is also a great spot just down the road by the sea to eat your sushi and watch the ships come and go. Would definitely come back here next time I was in Napier.

Stopped here for lunch on a sunny day and picked up some sushi to take to the beach. It was so good and really authentic. They use real sushi rice and very fresh tasting ingredients, plus the owners were so nice! Can’t wait to go here every time I visit Napier!
