Turquoise cafe was busy for lunch. The atmosphere was great. The staff are friendly and smiling. The best part was Turkish baklava. The location is right in town, some convenient. We love the design of the place and the look and feel is great. Good prices and good food. We look forward to our next experience.
They serve some of the finest Kebab’s in NZ. The staff is nice and friendly, with value for money. Don’t forget to try, the most delicious Iskender’s. That’s one of my fav spots to grab my meal.

A really nice and cozy place to go to. Me and my mate visited this place and that left us speechless. A very big portions for most of the dishes they offer. One of the most tasty kebabs and I sender dishes I have eaten. Really saucy and soft meat, beetroot couscous is what you can't get anywhere else added to your kebab. I think some dishes might be a bit overpriced but when you see amount of portion you are like chur chur, that's the business.
This place helps you to fight your hunger in a great style of taste.
This place made the best kebab I have ever tasted and also their salad was amazing, ordered a medium and thought they had given me a large by mistake. The portion sizes are very good for the price. Lovely ambience about it. Old fashion building with modern seats and the two men working at the time were very friendly. Would rate 10/10 because I do not think that they could have made the food any better
When you're not sure what you want for dinner, a Chicken and Falafel Iskender really hits the spot. Bonus was being the best Iskender I've had in a long time - be visiting again next time I'm in town.
The other night my partner and I had the best kebabs we've ever had!!! My partner had vegetarian and I had lamb. We got them as takeaways. Every mouthful was exquisite - a multitude of flavours, each of them a treat, the combination had me wishing I'd ordered another. Thank you!
Best kebabs in town hands down, Everything about this place is just impressive. Can find no faults at all. Quality, food, service, experience. I have been going every week for the last two months and am now afraid to go anywhere else in case of a let down. I love the idea that you can fill your own carafe of chilled filtered water at the bar. Prices are great. Recommend to everyone!
The second time I've been there now. Wow absolutely beautiful food, everything is so fresh an delicious. A restaurant worth trying out. Very impressed an will definitely be coming back. Good work cafe turquoise and thank you for your beautiful food an great service.
Had the mixed meat iskendar with yogurt and chilli sauce. So good! The meat had some beautiful flavours, the rice was perfect and the salad was fresh. The bread was very good and I wish there had been a bit more. But I left feeling pretty full anyway. My SO had the mixed vege iskendar and also really enjoyed. We'll be back.
I recently had a great dining experience at Cafe Turquoise in New Plymouth. The food was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. The portion sizes were also generous for the price, which was a nice surprise.

Food was fantastic, mixed iskender was a large portion that was very tasty and filling. Fresh salads and well seasoned meats.
Service was fast and efficient from professional staff, no complaints.
Atmosphere is good, clean, relaxed, not cramped, indoor and outdoor seating.
Reasonably priced, good location.

Currently visiting NP and was looking for place to eat at times where most restaurants are on siesta break..., glad to find out cafe turquoise. Service is friendly and quick and most of all good is good and tasty. Meats are cooked properly serves with 4 sauces and did I say, salad here is made fresh. Thank you cafe turquoise for a nice meal, will see you again before we head back to Akl.

Unbeatable Kebab! Best i have tasted in NZ. Great if they open a branch in Auckland!! Owner told me all the kebab meats are selfmade....not bought! Highly recommended.
So enjoy the food and service here. The food is fresh and creative. The chip kebab is pure genius with sauces and extras for every taste. Coffee is fantastic with a wide range of drinks and beverages for all.
Nice food, friendly staff, reasonable price.. what else do we need . I definitely will come back .
