The best pastry items in Taranaki! My daughter & I had breakfast here which constituted an almond croissant (her fav that she rated 9.88/10) & white choc eclair with layers (& layers) of delicious choux! Great sitting area shared with others & good local coffee. This place is a must visit!

I have enjoyed my experience at The Public Catering Company the place is posh and the people are happy and smiling. The food is creative and fun and the pie crust that is my husband's favourite is perfect. I personally love their choice of donuts. I paid prices I am delighted with. The location of this one of a kind restaurant is convenient and central.

The lemon meringue is amazing!! Sold out of what we went for but got to try something new for us which was delicious! Would highly recommend it and strongly suggest going early so you don't miss out.

Fantastic hidden gem in New Plymouth! Excellent seating areas well designed, trendy space. The HUGE selection of donuts had hubby and son both stumped for what they would choose! They also have extensive savoury options for people like me. Such good strong coffee hubby went back for a second one. The little donut on the side of our coffee was very cool.

Must be up there with the best coffee in town. Amazing choice of delicious cabinet food too. Had coffee and scone in the morning and back for lunch. Not worth taking our chances elswhere!

Had brunch here on 26/9/2022 and was amazing, both bagel, little big breakfast, Scotched egg and sausage roll… had it all and was prefect also price vs quality. All parts of the meal were well spiced and really tasty! Go it folks! Really good breakkie despite all stuff is re-heated ( which I normally don’t prefer) both looks and tastes very fresh. Will visit again!
