Great selection of fat tasty pies with perfect pastry. Tried the steak and cheese and Ned Kelly (mince, beans, bacon, egg, cheese). Both awesome, freshly baked and full of flavour.
Also sandwiches, cakes and fresh bread. I got corned beef sandwich for my last taste of New Zealand on the plane.
Great range of pie, although later in the day, identifying placement of them in the pie warmer was challenging.

One of the best pies I’ve tasted in NZ. Especially the mince cheese and caramelized oignon pie. Tasty and nourishing. Many choice of squares that are cheap too. I’m not used to note but the staff was so friendly and welcoming that I wanted to leave a comment. Cheers

Arguably the best pies in New Plymouth. Andre was one of few French persons in New Plymouth from the early 80's. A trailblazer introducing fine food to locals, all that remains beyond his memory is the flaky crusts. It's a factory atmosphere, but Pukekura Park is just up the road to enjoy a Kiwi classic mince pie or many other flavours.
I love going here to get my delicious freah lunch. Can't be there kai easy quick access off the one way. The staff are friendly and quick with their service.
Yum pies. The ones with cheese in are to die for.
