Consistently good. You never have a bad meal, and it's always well prepared, and quickly done. Probably the best Chinese/Burger/Fish n Chips place in palmy. A bit expensive though. There are better places in town for very specific things, but this place is the best for fast, reliably good food of all sorts. And i have yet to have better Chinese.
I don't understand why Annies Takeaways has an average rating of 2.8, Annies Takeaways is by far one of THE best takeaways I have ever visited! Their food is so delicious and fresh and not too expensive either. Their chips are always crisp and crunchy and the fish is full of flavour. The smorgasbord is also incredible
I believe Annie's does the best Fish & Chips in Palmy although it isn't quite as cheap as the takeaways up here in Auckland they give you great quality for your dollar. I use to always get Annie's whilst living in Palmerston North. Annie's unique hot dogs are one of my all time faves along side their chips and nuggets! YUM YUM!
We got recommended this fish and chip shop from friends of ours that heard about a couple of bad experiences we had, had with a few local places and we haven't looked back. We come from the opposite side of town to get fish and chips from here. They are super friendly, food is yummy, fast and efficient and they're always so nice to the kids. Love it.
If you are someone that enjoys a good smorgasbord then Annies is your place! The food is diverse and very tasty, there is a decent range of vegetarian options both on the menu and on the smorgasbord. The hot chips are crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, just as they should be! The kitchen always looks spotless and the staff are friendly. highly recommended!
Love Annies! Consistantly great quality food, and always receive fantastic service. Always my number 1 choice on fish and chip nights, love the smorgasboard, always hot and fresh!

It's certainly disappointing compared to last time. The fish was dry and tasteless, I would have rated it at 2.5, but that is not an option. It is really difficult buying good fish and chips in PN.
Awesome takeaways, crispy fresh batter and chips cooked perfectly. Served on a tray in a bag so they don't sweat like wrapped fish and chips š sweet and sour pork is the best in town and the smorgasbord range is define.
Great takeaway meals. Huge range. I get fish and chips with a pineapple fritters. Worth a visit.
The food is pretty good
but when my partner ate some of the sweet and sour, he found a piece of plastic in it when he took a bite so he avoided it and ate the rest of his food.
Annie's takeaways is a favourite among the locals. Their prices are pretty affordable. Phone orders are probably reccomended as it can get pretty busy. Our favourite is the fish bites and a scoop of chips, pretty good quality. There are quite a big variety of items on the menu including Chinese and a dish yourself section. A Coke fridge with a good variety of cold drinks is also available. Palmy sure has a good shops and this is one of them.

itās good itās quick, just ring up ready in 15 min, looks clean and tidy. self serve food available, little bit greasy but thatās what youāre there for right!

Lovely bright and clean looking shop. Friendly, professional and efficient staff. Swift service. Placed a phone order and was told it would be ready in 10mins and it was! Walked straight into shop, used the covid19 app. to check in joined a que behind 2 others and didnāt have to wait long. Food was hot, delicious and cooked beautifully! And generous size pieces of fish and portions of chips as well! Chips a little soggy but reminded me of classic kiwi fish nā chips as a child, so definitely not a deal breaker! Noticed they also do a smorgasbordā

Staff were friendly, overall food was pretty good
Good flakey fish & good amount of chips. The Chinese meals not good. I think this is the first takeaway I've had spring roll deep fried in batter; which I hate as no crunchy skin on the spring roll.
