Best cafe in Palmerston North. Great atmosphere, staff, food and coffee. Simply the best Lollie Cake/Afghans/Melting Moments all made by their great team on-site. Brilliant coffee made by “Love your Local “ Barista of the Year, served in generous mugs which I love. Best date scones and usually have the gourmet pizza and broccoli salad. Wide range of savoury, fresh, cooked options. Recommend a visit to this cafe.

The atmosphere is calm, workers are friendly and helpful. I had a shepherds pie, a tasty bite, but not enough meaty part, mainly %70 potatoes and vegetables from frozen package. Still tasty though.
Price is extremely reasonable for a city price. 4 stars

Wonderful cafe. Very central just on the Square. Had a lovely lunch. Great service and friendly staff.
Found this lovely place after searching 5 other cafes that were a bust. The friendly greeting and the atmosphere were very welcoming, The lovely lady that served us was very bright and bubbly. The food was very well presented and very yummy, my milkshake was delicious. After the meal they had brought out freshly baked scones and I quickly went up and got myself one before they disappeared in seconds, and it was just melt on your mouth delicious. The only disappointment was they were not open the next day, would love to visit again.

Super friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the kids story time at 10am (check Facebook for days it's on). Only had a muffin and coffee but it was all good. Will come back due to the ease of bringing kids but it's also a suitable place for singles, couples, or even those wanting to get their laptop out for a little work. Free wifi hotspot available.
I find Hope Kitchen comfortable and quiet with good coffee. The kai I've eaten here had been great also. Friendly staff.
