I LOVE their bean soup - totally healthy and yummy.Β Great pizzas too and the gluten free version isn't chewy like many others.Β Good coffee and like browsing their deli section and little shop bit too.Β Lovely, friendly owner who is always smiling.
Good coffee and some nice food. Great location with plenty of car park. Have been there 3 times and have no issue. Can't find fault but obviously not the best. Hence only 4 stars.
Had dinner here with friends last night. Was a good place for a catch up and laughs with nice spacing between tables. Had pizza which was so good! Everyone ordered something different all meals arrived at same time and were really yummy.
I am a regular at this pizzeria and have always found the food of superior quality to other places, good range of choices and the menu does vary so there is usually something new to try on offer. The portions are reasonable value for money especially taking into account the quality of the ingredients. The service is always friendly and reasonably efficient... great atmosphere relaxed yet swish. There are many regular customers whom I noticed time an time again.....
I have been here on a number of occasions and the food has always been of a high standard. The quiche in particular is superb. I used a voucher and was most impressed. The service was prompt and friendly, the platter generous and the Pollo Pleasure and Tuscan Dream Pizzas light and tasty. We needed a doggy bag. The corkage of $5 for a fine pinot was reasonable. I am amazed this place has had negative reviews, but even the finest fail to please all of the people all of the time (eg my favourite Chow in Tory Street, or even Logan Brown).

Ate today using a deal voucher, also ordered extra because we had the girls. Service was efficient and very friendly. Pizza's were delicious and the pasta had the right mix of seafood. We left full and satisfied...have eaten at the Newtown one as well and the pizzas etc are the same..in the future.our trips back to palmy from Wellington we'll be stopping here for takeaways. Cheers

the Pizzas were outstanding and the antipasto platter was superb. To be truthful, i did not expect much due to the previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner( I think ) made us feel welcome and ensured that we had a good time.
The staff were pleasant and thoughtful. The dessert (gelato for my family and the cheese cake for me) was superb combined with lovely background music.
A place to visit with the family. Watch out though...the large pizza is really large... not a "Dominos" large
I last used this cafe about a year ago and found the service poor. My latest quick lunch was very enjoyable and there had been a 100% lift in the service provided. Not sure if there was new management but the staff were well trained, well mannered and professional. I think that some pizza lovers who are only used to the Pizza Hut may fine the genuine Italian pizzas a little light on toppings.

Fantastic service, always smiling staff and consistant quality of food.. I would reccomend this restaurant to anybody who enjoys fine Italian foods, wines, beer and hospitality.. Read the wall pictures too... Excellent!
Good quality Italian options and some very nice pizzas.
Been there twice for dinner with family and enjoyed the meal immensely.
This time the sun was setting and looks gorgeous outside with the orange clouds of the setting sun.
Pizzas are particularly good. The Salmone, Chorizo, Chicken Polo were real good.
The Fettuccini was excellent and Risotto quite good.
The Gelatos are authentic as well.
Plenty of space and with a Mediterranean Store built in, good place to stalk up on base ingredients if something catches your fancy.
We were in a rush the first time and the waitress did a quick takeway of the desserts we had ordered.
Picked up the Ciabatta bread while paying at the counter and my son and wife devoured it with little left for me :-)
We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, the food was good but was hoping for something more rich. Disappointed that their crème brulee was sold out so we ordered panna cotta, the consistency of the panna cotta was a bit too hard to what we remember it was supposed to be

Beautiful evening again. The wine is better than any NZ wine. We had antipasti and risotto and spaghetti marinate. Everything was wonderful. Get the Chianti, you wonβt regret it. Staff was very open to create vegetarian options.
Really excellent gluten free pizza! Nice little shop with a few Italian specialties too. A bit pricey but it's pretty much the only place in the area with this kind of quality Italian fare.
Came for brunch on the weekend. We had the creamy mushroom and prosciutto on bread, and the seafood pasta. Both were excellent! Highly recommend the mushrooms, it was excellent value.
Coffee hot and delicious. Aced the service! Food was delicious and is very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back. Go there and check it out for yourself!
Update August 2023: Had the best meatloaf I've ever had - and it's keto! This was so good!
The food here is some of the best in NZ. Had the salmon. Totally delicious and very well prepared, then presented. Mouth watering. Coffee is to die for. These folk make you most welcome with caring service.
We split a calzone for lunch and it was delicious and tasted very fresh! The service was very friendly and we got a few dry goods as well.
Iβve been looking all over this area for dried kidney beans and they actually had them!
Divine. Will certainly be back. Kids liked it too which is always a plus!!
