It's been all burgers and pies lately so Vietamese was a great change of pace!

🔸Deep Fried Ice Cream was GREAT! First of all, THANK YOU FOR HAVING THIS TO BEGIN WITH, not many places do deep fried ice cream anymore, but also the shell was crunchy, and on a bed of toasted coconut, it added the perfect texture and flavour 👌🏻

🔸The whole fish was also boneless, really easy to eat and the skin was tasty, just kinda wish it was more evenly seasoned
🔸The laksa was suppppperrrrr tasty. Very creamy coconut sauce. But maybe lacked a bit of oomph, a tad bit of chilli would have been perfect!
Food is good- pho, lemongrass chicken, bun cha. The only thing that didn't hit the spot was Hanoi meatballs. Service was good once it got started and took away a star as we were forgotten about for a while till I went up to the deal and reminded that we were still waiting for our water and someone to take our order.
We went to the one at Remarkables Park in Frankton. It doesn't seem to appear so I'll put my review here.
It was a very nice lunch. Went there with the kids and they had a good options on the kids menu. Plus drawing/puzzles on the menu for the kids, which is always handy.
Our food was very nice and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend and will put it on my repeat list.
Great food and very fast service as it only took merely 10 minutes for our food to arrive. The staff was nice and friendly too. We had Thai beef salad, Vietnamese pancake, spring rolls and meatballs and they were all spot on with flavours.

Upon arrival in Queenstown, we can’t check in until 3:00pm, so after parking alongside the lake, we make our way back to the waterfront shops. Here we find Saigon Kingdom Vietnamese, and since we’re all fans of Vietnamese food, it’s a quick and easy decision to enter in for a late kind of lunch. The decor inside is quite modern, comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly, chatty and helpful when asked about the correct pronunciation of the beloved Pho (pron: far). My wife and son choose the beef version, and I decide to try the chicken version for a change. We also order a portion of the spring rolls. The food comes out roughly at the same time, as requested, and the spring rolls are light, non-oily, crisp and full-flavoured. The noodle bowls are equally good, and served with a plate of mung bean sprouts, mint and coriander leaves. There’s also a side of hoisin and chilli sauce to add more spice if desired. We lap it all up, and carry on our exploring, feeling very satisfied, but not full and heavy. Would definitely be happy to return to try more from their menu.
Amazing Staff, I had Shaking Beef, spring roll and you cant miss Pho Soup, lovely people around and beautiful ambience, had a lovely time and you can order anything, you will love it for sure, will go next time as well, kuddos Saigon Kingdom ☃️
I had crispy calamari which was lovely and Saigon prawn and noodle dish can’t remember the name and it was tasty . Loved the service and excellent value for money
Stopped by for dinner and had a huge group so we split into two tables. Our table ended up ordering a whole lot of different stuff to share.
We ordered a couple of different things from the menu but my favourite was the grilled tiger prawns. The prawns were cooked nicely and was just so easy to eat. The curry had nice flavour and the whole deep fried fish was also quite tasty. I personally thought the portions weren't the biggest.
Service was friendly.
Best Vietnamese ! Good vibe inside and lovely staff. Id you're vegetarian, the tofu is AMAZING. Also you can make all your meals vego. Salad was absolutely delicious, 100% recommend and will be coming back !
I wish I could pack this place up in my suitcase and bring it back home to Auckland with me because this was by far the best Vietnamese food I've had so far.
I agree with some of the other reviews in that the beef pho did lack the fresh herbs and lime etc which made it seem less authentic, but to be honest I had nothing to complain about. The Saigon rice paper rolls were so tasty and fresh, as was the fried tofu - highly recommend!
The staff were really friendly and the service was nice and laid back. It was all pretty reasonably priced as well.

All dishes were great. Did not expect the authenticity we received in dishes, the pho was actually great, the broth was rich without too much fat. All other mains and entrees were enjoyable. Service fast and efficient even with a full house. The Thai milk tea was one of the best I ever had too. NZ milk is exceptional!

I recently dined at Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, including vegan dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed. Here are some highlights from my meal:
1. **Soy Glazed Crispy Tofu (4)**: The tofu was perfectly cooked and had a delightful crispy texture. The soy glaze added a wonderful balance of sweet and savory flavors. Topped with crispy kale and roasted sesame seeds, this dish was a true delight.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I have been backpacking for two weeks now and this place has been our favorite by far. Tu and Vy were super friendly and quick to accommodate guests. The food and coffee is outstanding, we were in Vietnam last year and this reminds us so much of our experience there. Highly recommend!
Not your traditional Pho place. This place does a fancier version of traditional Vietnamese food. The beef in their Pho Bo (Beef Noodle Soup) is a thicker cut but still retains that Pho soup taste. I also tried their Chicken Laksa which was pretty good, it had a lemongrass flavour and the noodles weren’t the traditional vermicelli but instead was flat rice noodles. If you’re looking for a traditional Vietnamese food experience this isn’t it but their fancier adaptations are still excellent.
It was the first meal I had in Queenstown. Vietnamese food doesn't always disappoint us! I won't forget the careful service of tu! He recommended a similar menu when we asked for a service that wasn't on the menu called Bun Cha and it was perfect! And he checked me to see if I needed anything. Thank you, tu!
Tu was a really good server and an amazing person. 5-star service, and we love the food... I generally like spicy food. He gave me some Vietnamese chilli oil, fresh chilli and took some photos for us.
It was our second time at this amazing restaurant. Will go again before we leave Queenstown.
Spectacular lunch and dinner experience! My friends and I had the Pho Bo and that was just divine ♥️ Rich broth and authentic flavours, very delicious! 😋✨
We tried the Laksa and Tom Yum 🤤 soo very flavoursome! The ambience and service provided was top notch; The servers (especially Mr. Tu) were super keen and happy to serve us - Tu brought us extra chillies 🌶️ and chilli oil too!
Great place to dine, be it lunch or dinner - AND they have amazing lunch deals too!

Pho bo is the last I would recommend. Spring roll is crispy and not oily at all. Wok tossed lemongrass vermicelli is the top 1, the sauce is a bit sweet and sour, lovely taste( forgot to take photo).
I came from Sydney and the portion is a bit too small for me. Queenstown is a tourist place so prices are reasonable but I’d rather pay N$25 for the large portion of Grilled Pork vermicelli in the photo rather than the small N$20 Pho (finished before I remembered to take photo). The vermicelli was really delicious and tasty. Meat was tender and well-seasoned. The fish sauce was nicely made as well. For the pho, its spices were a bit too strong but once I added hoisin and siracha, it tasted x2 better.
On the other hand, the service is exceptional especially Tu who was really attentive and made great recommendations for our order and brought us the chilli soy sauce for our steamed veggies. I rarely tipped except when the service was excellent and this time I did as Tu was exceptional.
Definitely recommend.
Loved the food and service. They are open for reservations so for walk-ins like us, better come early to get seated.
