We all went to the heritage farm yesterday and had an amazing time. Our tour guide was super great and he was very nice to all of us and taught us a lot about the animals. My dad is in a wheelchair and our tour guide helped us out with getting him up and down from the trailer so that my dad could enjoy the farm tour too. 100% recommend, they were super accomodating and friendly.
The animals were also so cute and it was really fun to interact and feed them! Our favourite was the alpacas definitely.
Thank you to the tour guide for making my dad feel included during the farm tour.
honestly a way better experience than i had anticipated. a tour guide takes you on a tractor/bus through the different paddocks of alpacas, llamas, cows, goats, deer, pigs, bulls, ostriches and sheep with interesting information on a loudspeaker. our guide was really funny and nice to talk to, and you are invited to come down and feed the animals. a surprisingly great experience!
Thoroughly enjoyed being there. Amazing staff and great farm with lots of animals that you can interact and feed . Kids friendly
Ian the farmer was great! We had 2 toddlers and a primary school aged child and we thought it was really fun, good value and our kids had a great time. Recommended.
Visited with my wife and another couple. You can purchase food to feed the animals. It is very cute to see the sheep/deer/alpaca coming running for the feed.
We didn't go on the guided tour so probably did not experience the full Farm Tour but had enough animals for a good experience.
The lunch was great! Good portions and great taste!
We don't have kids yet but we will definitely be back with kids for the animals and the food. Handy to have 3D Trick Art Gallery right next to it.
Hand feed various animals. Lovely location near a caffee and the 3d art gallery.

Ian was a wonderful host/farmer who shared a wealth of knowledge. The farm animals were majestic and the experience was immeasurable. Our daughter absolutely loved her time feeding and petting the animals. Absolutely outstanding and a must to do when in Rotorua. Please feel free to use any photos we have added to the book me review.
Good tour guide
You get to feed and interact with animals
Having a lot fun with cuteeeee animals
While not the same as as it would have been before Covid. There is still lots of animals to see and feed with your family. I look forward to visiting again with my daughter when the nursery reopens.
Rotorua Locals we thought we would take our 2 toddlers on the farm tour! The kids loved it! Best part we didnt have to do any walking the tractor takes us around the whole farm, great tour guide learned alot about the animals and how to feed them and how to tell the difference between animals! There were ostriches didn’t expect that. But my 2 year absolutely loved hand feeding all the animals super cool!
