We have been to this restaurant on the Shore for a grand total of two times in the two years that we have been living in Auckland. And each time, they have not failed to impress. We chose to sit outside on a slightly cloudy Saturday morning and the moment we sat down, waters were brought over and the menus provided - that's what I call good service! I had my usual big breakfast - usually for brunches, I only have a full breakfast - and the missus chose eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Portions were definitely generous and if the missus did not stop giving me bits and pieces of her meal, I would not have been able to finish my breakfast, that's for sure! For those not looking to have that much food first thing in the morning, I would recommend checking out the cabinet offerings - they appeared impressive but seem to appeal more to the sweet tooth crowd rather than my savoury one. Bathroom facilities are adequate and the disabled toilet is spacious enough for a wheelchair and its occupant - unfortunately, there are no bars to assist with transfers. The meal was satisfyingly filling and service was prompt and friendly - a good combo for a weekend meal. Definitely will be back.
