You know that moment when you want to have a coffee and a quick lunch and everywhere is full, so you take a risk and try a random coffee shop
Well this was today...,was a disapointed? Hell no
Me and my wife ordered a couple of mochas, they were perfect!! Hot, good coffee, not too sweet...
I then grabbed a chicken ciabatta from the counter again perfect.

Then i get back to the office and see the previous reviews...well...i can only assume its the grabone crowd.
The place was empty...did not deserve to be. So I would def go back!! I would also recommend it to anyone for the Mochas alone!
We had a voucher for lunch today. It was a gift so I wasn't sure what to expect. Wasn't disappointed, the service was good and the food was yummy. I had a "plaster blaster" juice which was delicious and my mushrooms and bacon covered with blue cheese sauce was pretty tasty too. Mum's pancakes and fresh fruit was enjoyed as well
Came here with a grabone voucher. The mochas we ordered were one of the better ones I've had, really delicious. If I was in a rush I would have been unhappy with the wait for food as it took a while, but we didn't mind to much. The calamari salad I ordered is the worst I've ever had. The squid was like chewing on rubber and was unseasoned, also the dressing was unpleasant. No love or thought was put into the dish. a serious let down as I wouldn't have eaten it even if it was free. My partner had the kiwi burger which has saved this review as it was flavoursome and a big portion. Also the chips were amazing.
Wow Had the most delicious corn fritter Benedict today. Could not have made it better myself. Eggs absolutely perfect generous lashings of bacon and well balanced corn fritters. Now taken top spot in my all time favourite brunch. Mocachino was super tasty also. Can not fault this place. Wife had corn fritters also with chili Phily and salad. She found everything complimentary. The freshly pulped orange juice was worth the cost. First Cafe that openly embraces Zomato Reviews well done. Will be back for sure.
Best coffee on Hurstmere Road. Priced at $4.50 it's also one of the most inexpensive. The food is also great and the service always impeccable. Recently have upgraded the look and feel, a must visit if you are in Takapuna.
Fantastic Vegetarian Breakfast!
We met friends here, who had chosen this cafe specifically because they had a Vegetarian option.
It was magic! Beans on wholewheat Toast with Mushrooms, Avocado,Hash Browns, Tomato..... The meat options were also devoured with relish by the meat eaters.
The breads were all specialty Breads and when we asked for a small pot of Olive Oil instead of Butter, not a hair was turned! Just provided quickly, efficiently and in a lovely container.
The coffees were great, the service fantastic!
We will go there again.
Have been here twice. Food and beverage is awesome. The only thing on the downside is the absence of parking spaces in the street, but it's not the problem caused by the cafe. Overall highly recommended.
