Excellent food, full of flavour and a great portion for both meals ordered. Great service, definitely recommend if you’re feeling like Thai!

Good selection of choice from your usual expectations of curries, rice dishes, pad thai, soups to more western dishes such as pork belly and chicken skewers.
My mother (who does not like anything spicy or stinky) is quite happy to eat here.
Service is always very good, the place is always presented as tidy and clean.

My wife and I had our 18th anniversary dinner here tonight. We ended up choosing the "Set Menu" $70 option just for a try out. Yummo! We recommend this restaurant. Thankyou for a very nice dinner...
Recently went there with friends for a birthday treat. our table of 8 was well looked after and the food was great.
I had a duck red curry which had lovely flavours & was alround delicious. It was not quite as hot as I like so a request for some more chilli to add saw a small bowl of the real stuff, not flakes, delivered and I was happy.
My other guests all loved the food & the restaurant was nice and warm, even though it was freezing outside.
Being BYO keeps the costs down when dining in a large group too.
I'll certainly be back again.
Had the chicken and cashew twice. Was amazing great flavour and perfect level of hotness. Beautifully decorated and friendly staff. Great value for money. Was ready when they said it would be. Very happy :)
Really great food. And good value, We went there for lunch a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. We had Pad Thai and Ginger Stir Fry. Simply great. The waiter was a bit slow at offering drinks though. We would have had another round.
But we will definitely go there again.
We have been going to Thai Thani in Papamoa for years and last night was our third visit to Thai Thani 2 in Wharf Street. The food is ALWAYS awesome. The only negative is that you were really busy last night and you were understaffed. Otherwise, our meal was as brilliant as always.

Our server was great. He was attentive, but not hovering. My son had a persistent cough, & he just appears with a cup of warm water with lemon! I was very impressed.He is an asset to the place.
The server knew every detail and descriptions of the meals made you want it more. The flavors were rich and presented in a manner that was like artwork on the plate.
Highly recommend this place. We went during the week. I am sure on a weekend it is crowded and hard to get into.......
In my opinion one of if not the best Thai restaurant in NZ. Friendly service and typical calm and warm Thai music and atmosphere in beautifully decorated setting. My lamb rack was amazing. Prepared exactly as I ordered - not too spicy and not over cooked. My wife's Salmon Thai style equally great. A must visit for lunch and dinner.
Awesome. I try to check out local Thai spots whenever I'm travelling or somewhere new and this is somewhere I'll be back to. I'm fussy and fairly critical but the food here tasted amazing, had generous portions and priced to attract return customers. Had the duck curry and it was loaded with Duck. Good service too with a classic local Thai restaurant atmosphere. Thank-you.
Pretty good food. I usually visited here in the evening and lunch is cheaper but evening time has more portion.

I found here the food is tasty but little bit salty. I am willing to go here again still.
The light is a bit dark and I don't really like red background but not too bad.

Update:
Management rang me to see what happened and again advised me that the jasmine rice they use is a brand and its just plain steamed rice. Still confused as I know the rice i got last time had a jasmine taste...🤔 Anyway, the manager was lovely and advised they are focused on giving a great service and wanted to sort this out as best they can. Still not happy about being hung up on that night but I will say the curry on its own was lovely 👍
I have edited the stars and added 2 for the Manager and her call but i can't give 5 stars for the service on the night as the phone wasn't working well and the service was not good.

Very unhappy right now. I ordered jasmine rice and paid extra for it. I received 2 containers of plain rice with the green curry I ordered. I rang the shop and the service was appalling! She tried to tell me the jasmine rice was a brand and not the taste and I tried to explain i have had it before and know what jasmine rice tastes like. She still continued to treat me like an idiot and hung up on me.
Went here for step dads birthday dinner. Food was brilliant. As spicy as you want or completely mild and safe. Prices are very good and value. Staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. Room is quite noisy though. Will sit outside next time because of noise- be clear- this is not the business fault... Highly recommend.
Pretty good Thai restaurant close to the waterfront. Had the Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup (large) and red curry dish. We were three people and it was enough. If you're very hungry than consider another dish or add more rice.
