Hi, I'm Laz, the new owner. Please forgive me that I gave a 5.0 rating for my own Cafe - I had to give a rating to be able to post this, and why would I do any less than that :) At the end of the day YOU will be the judge of that! A nice open atmosphere, convenient customer parking, and friendly staff. The prices were similar to most cafes, serving sizes were very generous. The food in the cabinets was fresh and yummy. A piece of carrot cake was actually a mini loaf of carrot cake - it was huge and delicious. Staff were happy to reserve a table over the busy Christmas period for a group and were very accommodating when changes were needed.
Having had a bad experience at a mid city cafe/restaurant (beginning with a B....), I strongly suggest that the staff pay a visit to Sierra Cafe on Cameron road to learn how to treat customers.
Sierra must be the friendliest Cafe in the area, by a mile!!

Great coffee, delicious chocolate caramel square - rich enough to share. Choice of table seating or sofas. Outdoor option is lovely when there's no wind. Friendly staff. Dog-friendly cafe. It's my Dad's 'local' so we are return visitors. Operate a loyalty card system.
Met some friends at Sierra fir a coffee which was quite nice. All I wasted was some toasted bread and was pleasantly surprised when it was served in a wooden platter not only with the usual butter and jam but also with grapes and pears. I would definitely go back
Lovely coffee & blueberry friand. I appreciated the great service given to us, when the owner honored an old coffee card (free coffee) for my friend, even though the cafe is under new management. Big thumbs up!!! ☺
I had a great breakfast at this Cafe. The coffee was good, and a reasonable size (not too large and milky). There omlette was great - light, lots of filling, and a good meal. I was surprised it was not busier.
As a traveller and coffee lover, i stopped in many Café during my roadtrip. Sierra is one of the best Café to stop ! The barista is nice and skillful, friendly staff, awesome coffee and food ! And the final touch, they have really good tastes for their background music ! You can always start your day in a good mood in this cosy place !
good location , alot cleaner with the latest owners, different chefs different days so no consistentcy in cooking style and meal appearance but good coffee and service if not busy.
Very good , coffee great and superb food. Highly recommended to all.
