Amazing cafe!! Came here over the weekend spontaneously with friends. We all really enjoyed our meals 🤤 food was awesome value for money! Portion sizes were HUGE! I got a BLAT and I can honestly say it was one of the best BLATS I've had. They were super generous with the ingredients, especially for the prices. ( you wouldn't get that in Auckland) will definitely be back when I'm in Tauranga again 👍🏼👍🏼

For breakfast we had Balat and long black.
It was amazing bacon was crispy enough and it was a lot of avocado.
I really enjoyed it.

Fantastic coffee, French sticks are to die for and the service is amazing!! Make sure you try the ciabatta bread . The gluten free friends are amazing !
All i can say is YUM! I am surprised at how low the rating is for this place. Their baguettes and patisseries in the cabinet are amazing, I love their chicken and mayo baguette. The staff are always very friendly and the food never fails to impress. I would highly recommend this cafe.

this place will keep me plump over summer, always gets a visit on a Sunday & Saturday afternoons for takeaway cakes why make it yourself when someone else does it so well.
I have found this cafe to consistently exceed my expectations. The freshly baked food is absolutely delicious, and the coffee is awesome!! The staff are lovely and always willing to go the extra mile. Would definitely recommend.

Every time my boyfriend and I have been to this cafe we cannot fault it in any way. The coffee is delicately made and presented, the decor is tasteful and in keeping with the French theme, the food is always delicious and the staff are always helpful and attentive. This is my most favourite cafe in all of Tauranga and is the only one in this town, in my experience, that can boast consistency in deliciousness!!

I find this cafe brilliant.
This cafe uses top-shelf organic ingredients where possible, provides true French recipes, has modern and believable French decor and the staff are very helpful.
Occasionally I find my coffee burned but that is literally my only complaint - that, and that it doesn't open a bit later so I can visit it more!!
My roast vege salad and Espresso Diplomat was heaven!

I was surprised to see only 3.5/5 stars for this cafe as in my opinion it is one of the best cafes in Tauranga and is always full of people (and has been since the day it opened). They have fantastic pastries and although the hot food menu is only small the things that I have tried from it have been very good. I usually go there for a pastry, baguette and a Spanish Latte - which I haven't come across anywhere else and are completely delicious - I am not a coffee/tea drinker and it is great to have a hot drink that I really enjoy.
I definitely recommend coming here for brunch/lunch or just to grab some food to go. You can also get fresh bread to take home, I am not a fan of the ciabatta but the baguettes and sourdough are delicious.
I cannot say enough good things no wait fantastic things to say about Le Petit Four. To this day the mushroom quiche is the most delish quiche I have EVER eaten (and I have eaten a LOT). Chicken Mayo rolls, salads, croissants, cheesecake..Im slowly eating my way through the menu! Trust me you will not be disappointed! All this with cool friendly staff to boot!
Lemon curd and sugar crepe was ok but would’ve been better if it was more crispy than soft (my preference). The bacon, banana and cream was good. Scone was ok too.
Great selection of food that was well made and presented. Some staff were friendly, but a few were distracted and not particularly attentive.
A regular breakfast place for me on the weekends. Love their big breakfast. Their sourdough is toasted to perfection and tastes amazing. Also love the salted caramel crepe as a dessert option; melts in your mouth. Good coffee too. On occasion, I have also tried the ham and cheese sandwich with wholegrain mustard from the cabinet, and it is delicious.
It's been a while (as in yrs), since I last ate here but the food is still exceptional! Absolutely enjoyed our brekkie. I had the salted caramel crepes with added bacon & it was delish!!! Coffee was good too. Overall a lovely experience. Despite being small, it def is worth eating here.

Great coffee and selections of sweet pastries. Well worth a visit for your morning caffeine fix or afternoon tea.
Best hot chocolate in town as tastes like real chocolate. Cabinet is expensive so we just shared a muffin. Only toilets in the whole of the Chapel St shops area are in the cafes so worth a stop with the kids en route anywhere!
Not going to lie, we only tried this place because we were out shopping at the time & it was close.
Glad we did however, as the Staff were absolutely lovely & the food tasted just like homemade - the ginger kiss in particular was Devine!
The coffee decorations were the icing on the cake!
Love this cafe the food is out of this world particularly love the carrot cake and muffins from here, savouries are great too.
Coffee is great too, good spot close to shopping area briscoes, rebel sports etc..
Only thing I would mention is the sound echoes in the cafe itself can get quite noisy when it's busy.
