We arrived a little before noon, two others already here and eating. My wife ordered 2 coffees and a hot chocolate = 18 min. The chocolate was faultless as was the coffee. 5 min later our ordered meals came out. We had no complaints. Good honest meals and service. Nothing over the top. This is the reason we continue to support these wee roadside cafes. They form a part of new zealand that is increasingly being swept aside by the big service stations and takeaway chains. Thank you Wild thyme cafe.

Visited as a large group of around 30 for a Sunday lunch. A difficult group with staggered ordering but the staff handled it in a cheerful and efficient manner. Good selection of food and wonderful coffee. Unlicensed.

Beautiful views, very helpful staff and the coffee was perfect. I can tell these guys had put some effort into getting the iced coffee right, rather than just throwing a shot, milk and ice in glass.

Awesome nachos lunch...great flavors and price was not bad value for the size and taste of the meal. My wife had the soup of the day and thoroughly enjoyed her lunch also.

Novel cafe and gifts. Nice view better served as a cafe than a service station. Cleverly done. Bathroom could be cleaner
