Nice old pub to hang out in.
We were in town and we tried this place out. Glad we did.
We had 2 lovely meals for around $20.
They also have a range of $15 meals for over 60s and kids meals.
Will be back here there when we're in Timaru.
Had a chicken snitzel.meal tonight with salad and fries,partner had it with roast veggies. Was absolutely amazing, snitzel was huge.i also had a coffee which was divine, perfect strength and temperature. Highly recommend.

I really dont want to say how good this place is just in case I cant get a table. We come here every time we go to Timaru the food is so so good, the meals are so generous I have to get a Takeaway container. The meals in the photos are from the light menu would you believe it!!

We love the food, thumbs up to the chef. Lovely little place in town to stop in and have lunch.
The menu hunkers down with Kiwi favourites, as well as pub classics from all over the world. Mains include anything from Canterbury lamb shank to chicken cordon bleu, schnitzel, ribeye steak, and the traditional Kiwi roast that should fill your boots with no problem.
Aside from that, they have a delicious range of pastas, burgers, paninis, salads and lighter meals for those who are avoiding a food coma. ( but it's well worth of money ) i really like steak. Recommend 🎉
Staff are very friendly and food is reasonably priced. You get large portions too! I'd recommend the loaded wedges - very yummy!
This is a lovely cosy cafe to relax after a day of shopping or meeting friendsand family for a lunch date, food is delicious and fresh and the service is excellent
