OMG had the most scrumptious mixed meat iskander on rice that I have had for a long time. It was absolutely delicious 😋. Would recommend this place definitely. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really lovely.

Best meat on chips I've had in New Zealand. Had mixed meat and both were moist and plentiful, salads fresh and tasty too. Wife had chicken on rice and same results for her and my 2 year old. Spotless restaurant. Friendly lady who made our dinner. You will not be disappointed

Had the lamb on rice and mixed meat on chips! Lots of salad and meat and was delicious. Sat in the tent (shoes off) and felt like we were in Turkey and not Waihi! Definitely worth a visit!

Beat kebab we’ve had in a long time! Fresh and full of flavour and seems quite legitimate. Friendly service. We took kebabs to go but would eat in if we had the time.

Ordered the chicken on fries and dined in. Clean and tidy premesis with lovely service at the counter. The crinkle cut fries were cooked and seasoned well. The chicken was moist, well flavoured and fresh tasting. Would highly recommend.

The couple running the restaurant were warm and friendly. The smell and the large portions were wel l proportioned, the meat delicious and the sauces just amped up the flavours. Even our family who never had the kebab with rice experience enjoyed the well balanced meal. I loved that the shop had bits and pieces of Turkey with the happy photographs on the wall and pieces of cloth cut and framed as dresses. The gazebo experience was also something unique in this rather spacious restaurant. Loved off one star because the toilet latch wasn't working.

Passing though and so glad we stopped here, small mixed kebab and a small chicken kebab just yum so much flavour and great service!

Had an amazing chicken salad here!! The Owner(I think), a man served me. I asked for extra Hummus and sauce and he was very generous and added more with a smile on his face!! :-)
