Came here for the traditional breakfast eith softboiled eggs, kaya toast and teh c and was not disappointed. The family also had nasi lemak and coffee.
The tea and coffee are bold in flavour and if you choose the condensed milk options it packs in a sweetness that brings fond memories of my childhood holidays spent in Malaysia.
Kaya toast was perfect, eggs perfectly soft boiled and there is ample white pepper and soy sauce on hand, you can flavour to your liking.
Nasi Lemak is old school, with no curry or rendang but sambal, anchovies, peanuts, egg and cucumber but holds its own.
This place has a small menu but from what we have tried, it is executed well. We will be back next time we are in Wellington.

Very nice very authentic young family run Singapore Cafe with the vibe and aesthetic of Cuba street. Very glad this is available amongst the myriad of western cafes in Wellington. Had a delicious Hainan Chicken Rice and Teh C.

Good kopi and Kaya toast. So happy that finally a place you can get Singapore style breakfast in Welly. Good price too. Laska is a bit spicy and portion bit a bit small. They don't serve the laska with chopsticks as the noodles are all cut, but the noodles are a bit overcooked. A good place to get snacks and drinks.

Traditional Singaporean/Malaysian food and drink offerings as advertised. Rich bodied laksa was great with noodles cut into smaller sizes, just like back home. The nasi lemak sambal was spot on. Otak Otak was too floury though. Milo dinosaur was exactly how you'd have it. Not many seating options but a nice chill atmosphere.

This place gives me memories of home! Lots of authentic Singaporean food and drink on offer. I tried the fishball noodles (dry version) and a teh c (milk tea). While my noodles were tasty I just wish there were more homemade elements in the dish (e.g. noodles, fishball). Tea wasn’t as strong as I expected, based on the similar brewing style used at home. Seemed to be understaffed too - one person running around handling orders, food and drink prep. That said, I would be willing to revisit to try different dishes in the future.

Amazing laksa, probably one of the most affordable around. Heavy spicy, feel free to ask how hot would you like it. Worth visiting also if you after different tastes of coffee. Overall pleasing experience with thay place. Just be aware about spicy ;)

I'm from Singapore and can vouch for the authentic Kopi and Teh. Lemon Tea has a whole lemon in it (a first for me) and sweetness was just perfect. They also have a reasonable selection of Singaporean/Malaysian food like Laksa, Chee Cheong fan, Otah and Nasi Lemak! Staff are warm and friendly. Highly recommend for everyone try the affordable Asian fare here in Wellington 👍🏻

Great little Singaporean cafe. Recently opened, serving authentic Singaporean food focusing on lunch and breakfast. The venue is small catering for only a few tables and takeaway is the norm. Had the infamous curry laksa with prawns and tofu, which was very flavourful and tasty. Not too spicy but enough to give it a small kick. Unique to this laksa is that you don't need chopsticks and are encouraged to just use a spoon and "slurp" the noodles (the noodles have been cut to bite size). Is a bit on the small size so suggest you add a bun to your meal. Good value and will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

I've been longing Singapore coffee and kaya toast with soft boiled egg. This is the place! Great service and great coffee. Price is reasonable. Ambience is noice, feels like Singapore. This is the only place I could think of serving SG drinks and snack. I'm coming back for more.

This is a Singapore style coffee house. They serve kopi (really fine coffee made using a coffee sock and often mixed with condensed milk) or tea and breakfast sets. You can also get really large Asian buns (red bean, vegetarian, pork, salted egg, and custard). Not only is it tasty, it's also on the cheaper side by Wellington standards.

Definitely authentic with the Malaysian coffee and kaya toast options. Be prepared for the typical butter quantities in the toast. Heart attack on a plate, but what a way to go! Loved the Otak Otak.

A small cozy outlet. Enjoyed the nasi lemak. The rice was light & the sambal was spicy & delicious (though I don't mind a little more sambal) . The toast-egg-coffee set was delicious too. Well definitely return to try out the Singapore laksa & fish ball nnoodles. Kudus Kopi Tiam. Keep up the standard. Staffs & owners were welcoming & friendly.
