Wow! Absolutely amazing food, one of the best meals we’ve had in New Zealand whilst on our travels. Great service & really friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere, we recommend the pizzas & fettucine carbonara! We’ll definitely be back!
We ate here at lunch and had a nice meal. The lasagna nice flavor but was a little dry. Next time, I will ask for a side of marinara sauce to put over it. Prawns we served with their heads on (we don't care for this). Garlic "bread" was not what we are used to. It is basically pizza dough with a garlic topping.
The waitress was very attentive and helpful. 5 stars for her.
Would recommend if you are in the area and fancy some pasta.
I was a little worried going to an Italian restaurant and finding something to fit in with my diet but was absolutely blown away by their salmon special of the day! Beautifully cooked! I loved the cruchiness of the skin and the flesh was perfect, (not dry) and full of flavour. The right amount of capers and olives in the salad. Just so yummy! I did sneak a teaspoon of the dessert special on my friends plate. It is probably the best cooked passion fruit cheesecake I've had at a restaurant.

Nice atmosphere. It's also my first time to see a pizza can be cooked in a pocket, just like a pita.
What's more, the squid in the Lemon Pepper Squid dish was exceptional juicy.
Food there was a bit expensive, otherwise, everything was good.
Took the family out last night and had a terrific meal. We had the steak, pizzas, and a pasta dish. The meals were delicious, well prepared and presented- with friendly attentive service. The flavours were really good, as were the wines. I would recommend this restaurant as a really good family eatery. Thank you Amici.

The food and service were excellent. We couldn't fault the beautiful spaghetti dish, calzone, risotto and pizza - and the desserts were delicious! Great value for money! Thank you. We will certainly be back...

We came here today for the 1st time. The sun was actually shining for once so we sat outside and i said “we could actually be on holiday right now” the setting was so cute in amongst other cafes. The service was amazing from the moment we arrived and the food was great. Inside looked very nice and cozy with a fireplace on. Will 100% stop in next time we pass through Whangarei.
