What an incredible place for an early dinner. Everything cooked by the chef including handmade pizza. The cocktails are lovely! They included a delicious Coconut Panacotta for my sister’s birthday as a sweet surprise ☺️💓 the food was impeccable & the service was just perfect. A must visit!
We had a great night at Moxie, friendly staff and delicious food, the pork and prawn dumplings were a stand out dish. 100% will be back to try Wingapocalypse next time!
Have visited Moxie a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is consistently good. Amazing flavour combinations and the menu changes regularly so there is always something new to try. We went to wings night on Thursday and I loved the different flavour chicken wings- super tasty! And the ribs were melt in the mouth delicious! Service top notch too. We will be back again very soon!!
Good experience with my Wife and Parents. I liked the moxie milk buns and the beer on tap is very good. Great overall experience. Keep up the good work Moxie.
Love this place! Great food and drinks, loved their milk buns, fried chicken, braised lamb and hot chocolate fondant for that perfect end to a nice meal. On top of that, tonight's service from the team was top notch.
I have had the pleasure of dining here a few times now. The food is right up my alley, Thursday is wings night and they are truly delicious, spicy, sweet, sour you name it.
They change the menu regularly and serve them up with the best beer selection.
The Moxie milk buns are a must!

On Saturday we had our engagement party here and it was amazing. The customer service and help leading up to the event was phenomenal and the food and staff on the night were incredible. I would 100% recommend this restaurant for dinner or any venue hire as the price was extremely reasonable. Big thanks to James and Amy for helping us have a wonderful evening.
One of my favourite fine dining restaurants. The starters, mains and desserts were all excellent, but especially the ox-tail starter and pineapple pound cake dessert with coconut sorbet. Service and decor were also good. Would go back again for a special occasion.
Having just moved into the area, we're working our way though all the local eats. Heard from a few people that Moxie was a spot to try out.
Went there on a Friday night and despite the full house, the service and food was fantastic. Notable items were the fried rice and the roasted carrots. Cocktails were creative and executed perfectly. Great neighbourhood spot.
Absolutely loved my time here. Everything was delicious, staff were super attentive, friendly and you could tell enjoyed their jobs.
That was my first time ever trying beef Wellington and it was delicious! As was the cauliflower and wallaby toast.

The physical environment was a visual feast for my eyes as the food was for my palette.
The food was beautifully presented, with descriptions of each item. Bite-size portions were perfect enabling us to try most offerings. And the flavours were . . . orgasmic💖

Moxie is one of our favourite restaurants! So many restaurants seem to have almost the same menu and decor these days 🥱 - but Moxie never fails to disappoint! Delicious, mouth-watering dishes… with flavours from around the world! Their food is outstanding! Every dish we have ever had has been amazing. The decor gives off gorgeous, summery, Beverly Hills vibes and the service is, without fail, friendly and attentive. We are more than happy to travel from the other side of Auckland (Howick) for such a great experience. All I can say is if you haven’t been go! And, if you have been…well I know you’ll be going again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dined for the first time at Moxie to celebrate Valentine's Day. James created a set menu perfect to celebrate Valentine's day. The food was incredible, cocktails were amazing and the service was impeccable.
We cannot wait to come back and experience the regular menu.
Have been to Moxie countless, countless times and never had a bad experience! Service is top notch, all the waitresses are so friendly. The menu is always changing up and keeping things fresh. It’s actually quite a romantic vibe as well so great for dates.
If I’m looking for a nice dining experience and can’t be bothered going to the CBD, Moxie is my first choice and should be yours to.

I was the Dj at Phil & Cheries wedding last Saturday night. I'd just like to say thank you for everything - the fact that you allowed us early access to set up was appreciated, the staff are friendly and amazing and really helpful, and the food was beyond amazing! I've eaten food from all over the world, but that chicken was the best I've ever eaten. The flavours were mindblowing, the presentation was on point and the service during dinner was beyond par.
Moxie Restaurant is such a cool venue - nice and cosy, well laid out and you were both extremely welcoming. Out of all the weddings I've ever done, Moxie has to be one of the best venues I've ever played in!
Once again, thank you for being so accommodating and I'd have no hesitation in playing there again.

This was my first time visiting this establishment, and I was not disappointed. The service was amazing, the tea was sublime, and the food was so flavourful as well as being very pleasing to the eye
I honestly cant recommend the High Tea highly enough. Being from the UK and being a huge fan of high tea i'm a tough customer to please but Moxie it was perfect!
Not only was the food and tea really delicious, super fresh and tasty but the whole dining experience was exceptional. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, attentive to whatever we needed and really made us all feel part of the family! The deco is beautiful and with all the little touches to make the whole experience fabulous.
It was my first High Tea in NZ but it defiantly wont be my last at Moxie. Thank you!
