Very nice place for ice cream. Interior is a rather cramped space located right in the corner of an intersection along Mission bay. They have a various selection of ice cream to pick from which is a big plus for me. The waffle cone is excellent, not too soggy and it has a good amount of firmness and weight. It holds its shape properly and is heavy when you pick it up. When you bite into it, it has a good amount of crunch to it. Ice cream is at a right consistency, not too runny nor doughy, but again holds its shape perfectly.
This shop, with its surrounding environment, really reminds me of Kaffee Eis in Courtenay Wellington. Haven't had the chance to try their ice cream enough to figure this out but I do hope that the ice cream flavours are weekly/seasonal like it is down in Welly.

This was the first ice cream parlour opened by Movenpick in New Zealand. It’s a must visit spot at Mission Bay.
The store is fairly newly renovated with a busy ambience especially during the weekend.
They have a great selection of ice cream and other desserts. For ice creams,I highly recommend the blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu flavours. The ice cream waffles are freshly made and quite delicious as well. Great for sweet lovers.
Their hot chocolates are very nice as well.
Friendly staff and speedy service. They also provide complimentary water.

Clean store and the staff are really kind eventhough it was very busy when I visited. I got a single scoop of swiss chocolate flavour in a cup. The icecream was so rich and smooth. Liked the texture of the chocolate chips.
Had the set tasting menu. Quite valuable, nice decor, friendly staffs. Love the brownies, like the chocolate and the berries flavours. Overall 7/10

I like that they updated their menu with more options for dessert instead of just the normal ice cream. We ordered a sundae and chocolate brownie dessert and both were delish. Prices are a wee bit on the expensive side but would still highly recommend
Love movenpick so much, this literally used to be my childhood. Any time my family would go out for dinner in Mission bay we’d always come here and get ice cream afterwards. Even though to some it could be considered “ pricey “ they’ve never let me down and always have a huge variety of favours. The staff are always enthusiastic and happy not to mention the store is right down the road from the beach and is a good way to spend a family day out in mission bay by getting ice cream and going for a stroll through the beach.
The smell of the cones being prepared is very welcoming. Great ice cream, classic flavors mostly, but good quality. The vanilla is spectacular!
This place is a must to go to while at Mission Bay- service has always been great, decent portions and a wide range of ice-creams to choose from.
Sometimes the toilets need a cleaning though - but understandable as their foot traffic is massive and appears to always have a line during summer.
Good place for an ice cream everytime you go. You can count on good service and good ice cream however the long wait can be a put off at times.

Loved the ice cream from here and the range of flavours, but I went with a classic and my inner-child naturally screamed for the sprinkles - because who wouldn’t want that? Amazingly tasty and a well priced compared to other places. Will be going back!

Superb quality and gorgeous flavors! Some of their staffs are very welcoming and they offer tasting without any hesitations.
A little feedback is to constantly clear and wipe down tables would be nicer :)
I had a very nice experience here! Came here with colleagues last week on a boiled afternoon 🔅 the staff is very friendly and the ice cream 🍨 is very delicious! Mission Bay is such a nice area and I love this place 😊
Great tasting ice creams but very pricey for what you actually get.
I don't think there's nothing to mention about the quality of Movenpick. As always, they're great. Loved the ice cream and macarons, although macarons seemed to be a bit too expensive. All in all, still happy with the food and amount i have paid for it 😊
Best ice cream I've ever had, I forgot the specific name but when I had this chocolate chip flavor, I knew it was the best I've had ever. the staff are also really friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place, it's awesome!
Walked into the store at 8.40pm. Their closing time is 10.00pm. All chairs were brought in from the outside n lined on the inside of the shop. We were refused our hot desserts to eat in . We were told it was take away only. They still had an hour 20 mins to go..I dont understand why we couldn't eat in.

Located at the stoplights in Mission Bay, it is just across the road from the beach. There is normally a line but the size depends on your luck. It wasn't too bad when I came so grabbed a cone with a scoop of the mango and cream.
The scooper and cashier may not be the same person so keep an eye on your ice cream as you pay to make sure you get the right one.
They also have other desserts like brownies and cakes. Its all on the menu above the counter.
It was nice to grab a scoop and then walk down to the beach.
