Best Thai place, been coming here for years
We have been dining at this restaurant for many years and their food has never failed to please. I especially recommend the seafood as it is always fresh. Their service is great and the staff very friendly. Pricing is comparable to other Thai restaurants. To top it off the view from their restaurant over the bay at Orewa is fantastic. It is our go to place for great Thai food.

Great clean place and lovely view, service was fast and friendly and food was out within ten minutes, we got the Prawn Aroy with steamed rice for me which was really tasty and the kids menu choice for my son (chicken skewers, mini spring roll, steamed rice, grated carrot and chips) which is really great value and he loved it and comes with a dessert, I highly recommend and we will be back regularly.
If you're looking for great, flavorful Thai food then this is the place to go. Shared multiple dishes including green and red curries, pad Thai and sweet and sour pork along with a couple appetizers. It was all very yum and the meat seemed very fresh and top quality. Ordered a pecan pie and chocolate cake for desert and wow they were eaten in .5 seconds! Both warm and moist with a generous scoop of ice cream and cream then drizzled in sauce. Unfortunately they were very busy so service was quite slow. They gave us a 10% discount at the end of it all though which made up for it as they are usually quite speedy and on to it.
Came here for my twenty first last week with 15 people. I was worried that with that amount of people it could get messy but it was perfect. Food was amazing as always !! I had pad Thai, I also tried the chicken soup (best soup ever). Atmosphere was great. Excellent excellent night. Thank you so much ππ
Went here with my husband on Friday night. We were the first ones there. The service was spot on, quick and efficient. Our shared starter arrived, mixed entree, it was perfect to start with, not too much, just something to nibble on before our mains. For the mains we had the Spicy Lady dish and the chicken Red Curry. Both dishes were medium in spice and nice and hot in serving temperature. For dessert we had the Thai fruit w ice cream and the deep fried banana - all was gobbled down. All in a All, the best Thai restaurant on the Coast IMO.
As so many others have said, this restaurant is fantastic. The food is awesome, the people are lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We always order more than we need and take it home for lunch the next day. Yum! There is a bottle store below so BYO is easy.
We keep going back over and over again, year after year even though we live on the shore. The best value, best view and best tasting Thai food around.

Absolutely outstanding!! The food was cooked to perfection, and tasted better than any Thai I've had before, and it was delivered to our table so fast, it blew us away! The staff were friendly...one was a little over-enthusiastic but he was young and clearly just trying to keep busy so I can easily forgive that. Prices also excellent value for the standard of food we received. I think Harley (below) must have gone to a different restaurant because his experience just doesn't fit. I will happily travel from Auckland central just to eat here again.

Our 1st visit here and it is now one of our go to places for dining out. It has spectacular views and the service is good especially the young waitress we had she is very efficient. The food is nice and good value for money. It has a homely atmosphere, you can dine in casual attire and feel right at home. We met brown bear who is one of the restaurants frequent patrons he is a loveable character and is an avid fan of their food and so are we. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. ππ

We love Thai'd up. Perfect location with a nice view of Orewa Beach Estuary on a beautiful day. Joy the owner is truly amazing. We've followed her team since 1998 from Thai Chef Birkenhead, Thai Chef Albany, then Thai'd up in Red Beach. The food is always great and we were happy that she settled in that location. We definitely be back again.
