Definitely the best chip around the area! Have been going here for years now and always consistent. Cheap sushi during the day and good value tasty chips cooked in rice bran, hard to find these days!
$10 fish & chips special with their yummy coleslaw is a must have! Affordable and fish is fresh, chips are nice and crispy too.
Other options are a bit pricey but this special wont disappoint you, you get a good amount of chips and also 2 pieces of fish 😊
Our regular go to outlet for crumbed fish nd chips served at the outside table!!! Fish - is always fresh nd well cooked, chips crisp nd hot... yummy.

$10 Fish n Chips n Salad combo; fish is tarakihi which is a good upgrade from hoki. The donburi bowls are also very big for such a good price, the salmon taste more fresh in the donburi than it does from the cabinet sushi. Wait time can be long in busy hours, and the service there is always great.
Good, honest fish & chips on Jervois road. Never takes too long with very friendly service!

Ordered crumbed Tarakihi, and chips. Fish was very crispy and unbelievably fresh. Chips were custom cut and still warm when taken home and enjoyed. The meal also included complementary Tartar sauce which was a nice touch. Only complaint was the lady on the phone when ordering said the meal would take only 30 minutes and ended up 50. That was fine though as it was a Friday evening. Will be recommending and returning.
I mainly come here for the burgers. These guys make very very solid burgers. Probably Burger Fuel size. Most recently had a steak burger. I was afraid the steak would be too tough for a burger, but I was not disappointed. It wasn't too tough. Though there may have been a bit too much BBQ sauce slapped on.
Will be coming back here for many many more burgers!

I love the fish and chips here!!!!!! It's the best I have had! I always go there but sadly their opening time so weird like different time in week days.....
Phoned for my order as I was busy working. When I arrived they had given it to someone else ! grr. However they quickly made my dinner and gave it to me on the house. They even came up the street to deliver it to me.
Wonderful reprieve and great fish and chips and will go back again.

Delivered fast. Delicious fish, chips, chicken burger and hot dog to share between two people. Seating available to enjoy beautiful sunset and sneaky view of the sea past Sentinel Road. Been here before and will definitely come back again. Grateful they close at 8.30pm.
We wated to eat something quick and also wanted to try the famous local fish and chips. All I can say is that the lady served us pretty quickly and the portion was big and it was delicious!

Unassuming place which served some surprisingly good food. Particularly liked the fish and chips and white vinegar was provided with was a nice touch.
