It’s a Cantonese style restaurant. I had ordered chicken fried rice and pan fried chicken and vegetable dumplings which were juicy. I fell in love with the soy sauce they served with dumplings.
They served us food hot and was delicious in taste. The staff is friendly and humble. The prices are pocket friendly. It’s good for takeaways and dine in.
Cozy little resto along the busy Dominion Rd. The food is authentic Chinese. We tried the pork, beef brisket, Peking porkchop and prawn dumplings. The steamed blue cod next table looked enticing, thus would be the next target. Two thumbs up!
I ordered from here on UberEats a few nights ago and YUM. I got the pork and cabbage fried dumplings which were so juicy and tasty, such good value for money also! The bok choy and egg fried rice was insanely tasty and packed with flavour, the rice was so light and fluffy!! I also got the veggie spring rolls which were so crispy with such as nice taste!! All in all loved the food and the prices were friendly.
Very yummy and very authentic Cantonese style cooking. The owner is very friendly and she told us that she's from Canton. I don't think the dishes are over-priced and they really are tasty! I agree with some comments here that the place needs some tidying and sprucing up to make it more appealing. Will definitely come back for more :-)
One goes here for the authentic flavours and delicious food, not the ambience or the decor. This is our 1st choice hole-in-the-wall Chinese eatery - cheap, fast and consistently delicious food. Salt & pepper squid tentacles and french beans with spicy salt are spot on!
The food was not the greatest but still tastes good and in very good value. The wonton was great but the soup was just water. The place can be updated a bit to make it more appealing.
We really enjoyed the food here, we were also welcomed warmly at the door. I always order seafood so the squid was tasty and spicy as I ordered as were the beans. My husband was very happy with his choice and said the meat was tender and the portion sizes were generous. We plan on returning back to this place with our daughters because we're all about the food so even though this place is casual dining and the decor is basic it doesn't pretend to be anything else. The food was perfect for slipping out for feel good super tasty eats.
The service at Yummy Kitchen was exceptional, everyone greeted my partner and I when we came in, and it's not even a Japanese restaurant.
The food was only slightly above but economic. The good thing about this place is that they open till midnight so all the foodies don't have to worry about not finding midnight snacks.
Last week I went there with my 6 other friends, when we just walked in, the staff greeted us like royals (especially the main chef). We all ordered different things, but shared them around. Nearly all of my friends were fighting over the salt and pepper chicken, pecking spare ribs and the salty chicken. So if I was to describe this whole experience I would have to say AMAZING I mean literally AMAZING, all my friends keep on wanting to go there and try other things now. So if I was to advise you, I would say DEFINITELY GO!!!
They're fast at first but it took us a long time to wait for the combination noodles we ordered. I dunno why. Their fried tofu should be 'more fried' than what I expected.
