Had been there earlier this evening with a friend . . Had the family pack for 3 (rice, 5 kebabs , naan and tandoori) All for a valued price . . . The chicken tandoori with naan was simply heaven . . ❤️❤️ The kebabs were too good . . Could not resist going on and on . . Loved thier rice as well . . This was my first time and I'd love to go there again . . Pls try it out . . Friendly staff . . Awesome food . . ❤️❤️ JUST GO AND VISIT IT . . THIS IS FOOD THAT YOU WILL LOVE PAYING FOR . .
Tried this place for the first time today. We ordered the family pack (for 3) and firni. Between my husband & I we were able to eat enough and plus left overs for another meal. The kebabs and chicken meat is well cooked and delicious with a good amount of spice. The naan is soft and very different to the typical naan, rice is good too with the right amount of raisins and goes well with the meat and salad. For I was a perfect sweet to finish off the meal. All in all a good meal that is a little dearer price wise but taste is excellent. Will definitely be back!
Ate at Kabul House after lockdown ended so the restaurant was very quiet. Even though we were the only ones there, there were a couple dirty plates that hadn't been cleared up on some tables which felt a bit odd to me.
We ordered the combination kebab and our food came at a reasonable time. I really enjoyed the delicious flavours from the kebab meat and thought the rice was amazing! There was a lot more rice compared to the meat, so I was quite full, but wished there was more meat to balance out my meal.
Food was delicious no doubt! Flavouring of the meat was on point. I would prefer more sauce options with it and things like hummus or garlic yoghurt because it became a little dry to eat also could do with more salad but in saying that I am excited to revisit this place when their new menu comes out. Rice was so lovely and flavoursome you could eat it on its own with the raisins that added a new touch.
Today is my third time dine at Kabul House. The foods here are delicous. If these foods are the only food that I should eat the whole lufe, I really don't mind to have it.. amazing, delicous and beautifully presented. And

Excellent quality of food. The restaurant has trouble with filling orders, and I’ve had to substitute my order twice. But when it arrives the food is very good and in substantial quantities. If you like traditional fatty lamb and rice, the Qabuli Pulao is a great dish. So is the chicken rice.
Amazing food. Ordered family pack and was blown away, kebab and rice was amazing, portion was enough for three. I will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
Amazing and authentic rice dishes. And the best baklava I've had in Auckland. Very moist from the syrup and good crunch from the pastries and pistachio. I started with one but couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved the Chicken Tikka, with rice and salad !!! It was full of flavour and grilled to perfection. Would love to go back and try other dishes. Decent prices as well.

Absolutely delicious food. We ordered Biryani and Mixed Kabab Plate with Roti. The Kababs were unbelively tender and juicy. The biryani was exceptional as well. My only regret is that I couldn't find this restaurant sooner.

Casual restaurant inside the mall but the food is delicious. Generous portions, great flavour, and melt in your mouth tender meat. The naan was so good with the kebab meat, and I couldn't choose a favourite between the chicken or lamb, they were both excellent.
This Afghan restaurant is a real gem. The food and service is impeccable with some very interesting dishes as well as some traditional desserts as well. We go here almost religiously now. Price is also very affordable for what you are getting. The roast chicken and lamb kebab, is highly recommended.
Loved both the food and the friendly service. We had the family pack (lots of different meat, rice, naan etc) along with the meat dumplings, a delicious pot of tea and sweets from the cabinet to finish off - all delicious!

Very tasty food, I have visited this restraunt a few times, every time the food was top notch. However the prices have increased, they used to be quite reasonable but now they are a bit pricey. Wait for food was slightly delayed but totally worth it. Worth the try though!
