Friendly staff and really yummy fish and chips, and good selection of burgers. Have ordered a couple times through uber eats too. My new go to for a kiwi classic!
Love the burgers. Love the chips. Love the crumbed fish. They have an interesting variety of other things too which you wouldn't normally find at a "takeaways". Things like salad, marinated raw fish. They do a lot of Uber orders too which make it deceptively busy.
But the burgers aren't your usual soggy mess of damp buns and greasy fillings, they're crisp and well made.
Great local fish and chip shop. The variety of burgers is amazing. The two we got (Sexy Mexi and The F&C) we’re big and delicious, cooked perfectly.
The chips were tasty but not crispy, if they there crispy it would’ve been perfect . Definitely would come again to try out more of the burgers.
These are the best burgers I’ve ever had and the milkshakes take you back to your childhood . So good ! Pretty much been here every night since first trying them ! ❤️
Friendly service, and the food is great! My favourite place to go if I want a good burger or some fish and chips. I’m lucky to live down the road from these guys. Just have to make a quick and easy ph order, then going in to pick it up 15 mins later. Love it! Support your local!

Their chips are awesome, not oily, but crunchy and in a good portion! Instead of the deep fried fish, I had my fish grilled. You can tell that they had taken good care of the ingredient's quality, from the fish to the seasoning, but have to say it's a bit lacking of flavour.
Had tried several kinds of their burgers,both of them taste good. The presentation and portion can guarantee you that the burgers worth the price.
But there's a downside also. I noticed the guy who was doing my fish burger, he was cutting the bun straight away on his hand,without gloves. When he assemmbled the burger, he also grabbed everything just by hand, even for the fish. I don't think this was how he supposed to do with food.
Everything else is fine. Friendly staff, quick service,but please pay attention to hygiene.
Thought id try these guys a couple of times before rating and it's a solid 5.

Scallops - cooked perfectly and tasted super fresh and sweet.
Burgers - house made meat patties and fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed ours.
But the icing of this wonderful Lil place is the raw fish salad!! I should have taken pics of our faces when we took our first spoonful. As an islander who's from the North Shore but now resides in Avondale I had been grossly disappointed with quality and taste of raw fish around the area and even as far as west Auckland. This raw fish was the closest thing to how I make it! Loved the addition of coriander ... I might put it in mine now. :) Thanks for the sample that you gave us and I'm going to apologise in advanced but you'll be running out of raw fish a lot faster now lol.

So good to finally have an amazing fish and chip shop in the area! Totally worth paying a little more for the awesome food and friendly staff.
Just brought three burgers, three pieces of crumbbed fish, chips and Kumara chips. $60.00. Had heard about the amazing reviews of this place and wanted to try it.
Was absolutely beautiful. Non-oily, great quality meat and awesome flavours. The chips were yummy too! The burgers and chips were crunchy. This place is more pricey compared to other fish and chip shops but it is well worth it. As your experience in the food is totally different. You can taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients. They were fast and efficient also. Can't wait to eat there again.

Their chips tasted really good. You can tell straight away these aren't your ordinary takeaway greasy oily chips. Seem to be better quality yet not expensive. Seems to be family run, staff was really nice despite us arriving a few minutes before closing.

Been twice. Have only had the fish and chips but have enjoyed them both times. Well cooked, not oily, lightly salted. Service is quick (hasn't been busy when I've been). Can recommend.

Great fancy fish n chips. The kransky really does stand out - get the combo for some surf n turf. Pineapple fritter also quite tasteful. Just nice quality fish and chips, probably the best in the West.

Good banter while we wait for the food is always good. Plus food is delicious. Chips were a bit soggy but only a bit. Burgers were nice and fish was outstanding.
A takeaways store. They have a yummy classic burger, which also looks to have far more real meat in their pattie than many takeaways. The classic burger is one of the cheaper burgers and it tastes like a McDonald's cheeseburger but better and far more fulling. Also pickles
Burgers are really tasty. Fish is fresh and of generous proportions. Chips are nicely done too. Can't think of anything I'd change so giving it a 5.

Fish was very nicely done. Not your regular 'fish and chip' shop, more up market style. Prepare for a reasonable wait and a hit to the wallet. Top quality food though.
