If you’re after a good burger, this place is Excellent! Surveyed the competition and ended up here. Ordered cheeseburgers, an egg burger and grilled schnapper, kumera chips and potato chips. Everything was excellent: burgers were tasty, well seasoned, real meat patties with a proper serving of crispy cheese! Chips were cooked in fresh oil, fish cooked perfectly. Add the view over Oneroa and the beer on tap, and you couldn’t really ask for more! Recommended.
Was so shocked by the amazing food we had! It was top quality fish n Chips. The fish batter was a beer better and as my husband said "best fish I've ever had" it truly was!! We enjoyed it. Seating was annoying. We stopped for lunch and their outside seating options are old and limited. I noticed they were putting in glass railing but this was behind a big wooden baracade. Once this is done and they get their seating sorted it will be top of our list to go back!

Definitely one of the best places to have the freshest fish and chips! Coupled with amazing views and friend staff, I would recommend this place as one of the go-to places when you're in waiheke!

We ordered fish (snapper) and chips when my partner and I were there. It was a typical fish and chips that you can order else where, nothing too special about it. What we loved is the stunning beach view we had while eating. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance during the winter season were plus points.
For a cheap and filling lunch, this is the place to go. We got two snapper burgers at $15 each and got free chips along with it. The grilled snapper is cooked to perfection and the bun was so soft and fresh. Definitely worth it.
Just a stunning place to have a beer and some honest food! Great people and an amazing view. I'll be back shortly.

Fantastic location over looking the water. Fresh snapper was delicious. My husband had a huge beef burger for $10. They even put beetroot on it an Aussie favourite. I washed it down with Organic Cola from NZ which was great. Great cheap eat. Friendly staff. I would definitely eat here again
Stunning views with magnificent food and service and a cheeky bonus that you can enjoy a drink to go down with the lovely meal. Definitely my takeaway / dine in fish and chips choice on the island. Will be returning on my next trip to waiheke! Thanks guys 🙂
We wanted something quick and easy, and out of the three locals we asked for recommendations, two suggested this place. It is a bit bare and functional but my fish burger was pretty fantastic. Would definitely come back for it again. You also have some views over the water, and on either side are some cool bars. I recommend popping in next door to the stylish Aperitivo for a relaxing Aperol spritzer to freshen up the taste buds before your meal!
One of the best fish and chips I haven't had for a long while. Pork belly pop corn is a must try🍿. Very friendly staff and Andy the dog. Kids loved it. If you are here on Waiheke island. Make sure you pay them a visit.
The deck has stunning views with great service from the team. As for the food, the fish and chips were good and filling, the fish burger was very tasty but the star of the show was the squid dish. Absolutely delicious with a crisp flavourful batter and soft tender squid that is so difficult to come by. Will definitely be back in future.
Excellent fish and chips in terms of flavor and portions plus a gorgeous view! Love that they offered a GF option with the fish grilled, and the slaw was the perfect balance to the fish and fries saltiness.

We really loved the food here on our visit to Waiheke! The staff were very great with seating us quickly. The food was delicious too! I had the fish tacos-super fresh. They missed out one food item we ordered but overall the service was great. Will be back!
Our group of 23 showed up with no booking as we got a last minute recommendation from our shuttle driver to have lunch here. The staff/owners were extremely accommodating and helped us join tables, organise a large order and brought the food out very quickly!
Everyone loved their fish and chips. The fish was super fresh, the chips were yummy and the side slaw complimented the fish and tartare so well!
The place is a prime spot, tucked down some stairs on the main strip and opening up to a gorgeous view of the beach! We felt very lucky to have gotten a recommendation for here and even luckier at how great the service and food was, even so last minute! It's also about a 15-20 minute walk to Matiatia Ferries along a very scenic stretch of road. Super convenient! Great way to finish up our day trip to Waiheke Island.
Great fish and chips. Loved the portion of the basket. DF slaw was excellent. Wish I could take some home. Cashier/bartender(possibly owners) were excellent too! Andy was our favorite though!
