A gem. One of best ice cream places around. Great flavours and they are made in house. They have also have amazing shakes and waffles.
Great variety of gelatos, prepared in house. A friend and I tried the gelato - butterscotch, ferro rocher and lime. Brilliant ! There are quite a few awards to GW’s credit, that are displayed in the store. Friendly service and value for money. Handy location for residents of the Shore, and a fantastic summer delights spot when in the area. Please bring along your vegan friends as well. Looking forward to many more visits.
Although slightly pricy, its very much worth it to treat yourself with their milkshakes (especially knowing it supports this small business). The lady at the till was super friendly too!!
The couple who run this store are consistently really friendly and the ice cream is always really good. If you're dairy free, you're in for a treat because there are actually a few options to choose from

Popped in for a little dessert after dinner to fix my sweet tooth, always drive past this spot but never stopped by. Finally figured I should give it a go since I was in the mood for gelato and it definitely did not disappoint!! So many yummy flavours to choose from but I ended up picking Ferrero Rocher as it is my favourite chocolate. The gelato is so creamy, not sickly sweet and had nice big chunks of the Rocher!! This is the place to get gelato in Birkenhead, also the staff are very lovely!
I tried 2 scoops of gelato on a cone which was $6.80. The gelato came out looks 3 scoops ! Did I get a bonus ? 😋 I chose strawberry & green tea flavors. Strawberry one tastes a bit too sour for me and for green tea one, I like a little more strong flavour in it. There is a space about 10 people can sit to enjoy gelato. Which flavour shall I try next time ?
Salted caramel gelato and summer! Two great matches - will be back to try their other flavours. I only found out about this place at the chocolate and coffee show last year.
At last we found a gelato shop that sells Ferrero Rocher Gelato. They make it themselves and it is really good. Service was friendly. Will be back for more.
My cousin told me about this place and from all the pics I've seen, I knew I had to try it.
I got a salted caramel popple and it was delicious. It does get pretty sweet though. My brother ordered the chocolate one and the chocolate gelato was very rich.
Really like this place. Nice cosy atmosphere. And friendly service. Only downside is they only have one popple maker so it's like a 15mins wait for each popple per person.

Consistently smooth and delicious gelato! Came in today and they had a combo with brownie that was incredibly yummy as well. This was the Biscoff brownie and they had about 5 more other flavours. Yum!!
Was welcomed warmly upon arrival by the lady.
I asked for her recommended flavour.
She suggested the Snickers Flavour.
It is exceptional.

Only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is because of traffic from Birkenhead Road. Bit noisy. There is seating for me to sit aswell.

The experience was truly remarkable, and the prospect of returning is most appealing, particularly given that everything is crafted in-store. The Biscoff brownie surpassed expectations and was exceptionally delectable. Rupen, too, exhibited warmth and cordiality, enhancing the overall experience. I highly recommend this .
Loved the biscoff, and also the fig & honey, both were great. The chocolate and pistachio were alright as well. Would certainly go again for the first two flavours.

Friendly customer service and yummy deserts. I’d rather come here than the gelato places in browns bay. Lots of different options to choose from which I love.
Awesome Gelato, was very happy. Came in right on closing time accidentally but were well looked after and not to mention it was so delicious
