3 diners in house tonight, had great food, good service, good experience, could have more heating in restaurant dining area, have been eating at restaurant for about ten years now, restaurant has always been too cold. can recommend food, Best Thai in Chch.
Definitely one of the first places to go if your feeling some Thai. Calm atmosphere with exceptional food and service for the best experience.
Wonderful and consistent Thai- definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in Chch. It's always tasty and well presented and the staff are friendly and attentive. One thing to note is that the meals are quite spicy so I often go for mild here when I usually go for medium anywhere else.
Went to the Abalone for a team lunch. The restaurant was warm and had a lovely feel inside. The lunch menu had some good varieties. The Pad Thai I ordered was amazing, one of the best I have had. Everybody was happy with their food. Very happy with the quantity and the pricing. The waitress could be a bit more pleasant though :) Will return, may be for dinner this time.
We have been returning to this restaurant for several years now. The staff are always friendly, and we have always had a delicious meal there.
Takeaways tonight, they were pretty good. The egg fried rice had nice flavours, but the frozen veges - diced carrots etc seem a bit low grade. Not much egg which was disappointing. Delicious fat prawns were the star of this dish. Not too greasy and not too salty either, would get this dish again.
Pad Khing (chicken stir fry with ginger) was also yummy, delicious flavours. Quite light and the ginger flavour is fantastic.
Good prices for the meal too.
The food was really good and prompt which was good considering there was a group of 10 of us dining. Friendly serving staff although the lady that served us when we went to pay was not overly friendly
Tried the restaurant again recently and I have to say the food - particularly the wild pork and wild venison was superb. The menu is extensive and because its easy to read, with pics of some of the dishes, it encourages you to explore Thai cuisine. Service was good - food was great - and the new decor is looking good as well. I would rate this as the best Thai food in ChCh.
amazing Thai food, authentic and delicious both dining in where service is excellent and for takeaway we've bee back 3 times since trying it the first time a few weeks ago!
Excellent range of meat. I had the wild pork and my partner the wild venison which was cooked to perfection with a lovely range of thai spices. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff are friendly and efficient and well presented.
Would highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful night out!
Excellent Thai restaurant nestled in a suburban mall. Reasonably priced food and choose your spice level options.
The food was amazing. Great service too. Also was great that there was a free shuttle arrangement between the motel we stayed and the restaurant: they picked us up and dropped us back at the motel. Very very friendly people. Would definitely go back and would recommend.

Delicious, generous servings. Prompt, efficient and friendly delivery service. Recommend the chicken stay, (lashings of sauce), pad Thai pork and ginger beef.
Excellent value for money. The taste is great. The restaurant has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Background noise is not a problem, it is a good place for group discussion. Very friendly service. The option to bring your own drinks is also great!

Great atmosphere. Really nice staff. The big fish tank is a good attraction for the kids. Unfortunately my chicken pad se ew was a little bit dry. However, I would return. :)
Great place for a group or just a couple, had blue cod and was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meal , service was quick and very good, would definitely return
