Herba provided catering for our wedding, and we were thrilled with the whole experience. Kerry was incredibly helpful in walking up through the planning for our reception and providing helpful hints on how to make things run smoothly. The food was delicious, fresh, and had excellent flavours, and was especially appreciated by everyone with dietary requirements. Compared to other catering options it was excellent value for money. We couldn't be more happy with how our reception went, and are very grateful to the Herba team.
This whole riverside thing is like a farmer’s market setup but with diverse food options. Herba tastes great and has great selection of halal options. Really enjoyed….thanks
Love their food! So yummy vegetarian and vegan option. Very juicy felafel bun and the fish was smooth and very well-coated. But wait, the kumara ribbons are very well executed- thin, crispy and not too salty. The staff are friendly and efficient!

I felt great all day after such a fresh meal. The ingredients come from the garden and are very well combined. This restaurant wants the customer to feel healthy and also thinks about the environment by choosing suitable cutlery.

Lovely fresh food. You choose your protein and combine with salads of chips. I had the beef with feta and beetroot salad it was very tasty and I want to try the other options now.
Yummy food options, vegetarian and vegan friendly. I absolutely love the kumara ribbons!! The falafel has nice flavour and spice.. good portion size too. I like that there are different base options to choose from, so picking and choosing is possible depending on what I feel like eating at the time. Advice: go inside rather than via the outside entrance to see the daily base special for something that isn't on the menu. The food felt and tasted wholesome and delicious. Thank you

Herba Gourmet is the best place in Christchurch for good wholesome healthy food. Yes it costs a bit more, but it is like fast food but actually Healthy so is worth every cent more. Plus if you have seen the cost of food in the supermarkets lately you will understand. Highly recommend & will be recommending to all my friends, colleagues & family, hands down best food in Riverside 🙌 🤩
Had a really nice meal here and appreciated that they have GF, Coeliac sage foods. The fish and chips were good (not even close to what we have in British Columbia but still good). Not a fan of the tomato sauce either but it’s all personal preference. My wife really enjoyed the chicken and chips. Broccoli salad is awesome. We’ll definitely return!! Friendly and efficient service during a busy time.
