We had dinner and breakfast here while staying at Marsden lake resort. The staff were all lovely and the food was great. We had the carnivore platter for dinner and it was delicious.

We cycled out to this restaurant from Cromwell. We were surprised the restaurant was set so far back from the water and had no water views at all. We drenched our thirst with Cider and had the fettucine and mussels for lunch, topped off with flat white and tea. Meals were promptly served and was delicious. The mussels were rather small size though.
One of the finer restaurants in Cromwell. The food is fantastic and full of flavor. Atmosphere could use a little work — it isn’t quite as upscale as you’d expect for the menu (paper napkins; a noisy, casual bar in amongst the dining room; small and large size options for drinks, like you’d see at a chain restaurant). The décor is a bit of a hodgepodge, no real theme here. Service is friendly but again, doesn’t really reach the level of “upscale” to match the price point of meals on offer. Overall, a positive experience. Try the Carnivore Platter — it’s a staple. Limited but still decent wine list.

Bit of a wait on food but quality was excellent. Servings are large but they supply a take home box if you ask. Recommend the pancakes
