I’m not usually a fan of Denny’s but my experience was better than I expected. The new interior is pretty cool. We had a group of 20 people and we were seated within 15 minutes. Everyone enjoyed their food. The buffalo wings, pork ribs, curly fries, and hot fudge cake were the most popular things ordered. For something different I ordered the spinach and mushroom Benny which I really liked. My Dad only got the sirloin steak and the meal was not enough for him. If you’re a big eater, it’s probably best to get an appetiser and a main course. The salad that comes with some meals can be better. They did forget some of our orders (probably because there were so many of us) but they were quick to fix it. So they were really on point last night.
Food was really good and prices were very affordable. I had the veggie burger and it was really yummy. Staff were prompt and polite. I Would love to come back here again.

Denny’s is 24/7 best place to go when you have mid night munchies. Breakfast, lunch or dinner I’m never let down with portions. They have a wide verity of meals that will satisfy your taste buds. Only one thing that I’m let down with the service of Denny’s is that they take a long time to come get your order. I always hope that it’s just a slow ordering day but it seems to happen every time I’m in there. Other then that I’m happy when my meal arrives and will always visit with an empty stomach to satisfy.

Mine and my husband’s go-to place when we can’t decide where to get a feed (aside from maccas). I love the food here! I can never get enough of their buffalo wings paired with some curly fries. Also, they started giving activity/drawing sheets to kids while we wait for our food. What a lifesaver from restless toddlers!

Yes it's Denny's, but yes it has great vegetarian food! They recently added a heap more veggie options to their menu, and the portion sizes are large for the money. I got the veggie skillet which was huge, and really delicious too. Whether you need breakfast, lunch or a midnight snack, these guys have got you covered! They offer veggie sandwiches, omelettes, burgers, pancakes, waffles, and desserts, as well as alcoholic drinks, smoothies & milkshakes. The decor is a little outdated, but please don't let it put you off! The staff are really attentive, and service is quick even when they are full. Also open all night, which is pretty good. Try it!

I know denny is slightly over priced but it worth eating at with the islander manager he's so nice me and my partner go to dennys a lot because we only get time to eat at places that are opened late. I think he deserves a pay increase.....

The food is delicious (not so good for the waistline lol) and the staff are lovely. Because my family go there often the staff even know our orders. Today I took my parents there for breakfast after work and we ordered an Ultimate Omelette, a budget breakfast (my dad said he was on a diet haha) and a Pulled Pork Melt.
The food was fried goodness and the chef was not shy with the chips, giving us heaps (which is always a positive in my books). In terms of pricing, Denny's is not that expensive and our meal came up to $41 so it is definitely a restaurant that will suit larger families or groups who are looking to dine on a budget.
My family and I have always loved dining at Denny's, it is a Sunday regular in our household and a restaurant we can rely on to deliver good food and service.
So if you are looking to eat a lot of food at a chill, relaxed restaurant with inexpensive dining prices and lovely staff then give Denny's a go.
I have been going to Denny's for many years with my family and friends. Yesterday I took my daughter and family to the Manukau branch. My daughter and I ordered Nachos and were very disappointed with the meal served up to us. plenty of nachos hardly any meat and very bland not worth the money paid for it. Other wise the desserts were good but no long spoon for the sundaes made it hard to eat with little spoons. So we came await feeling very disappointed and not sure with we will return to Denny's in the future.

Tried the Denny Benny meals and bacon pancakes. Pretty good! Good flavours, plenty of food on the plate, cooked well, although the mushrooms and hash were a bit greasy. Pancakes were a good size, would have loved the bananas caramelized a bit more.
Cup of coffee and tea included in the meals was nice. Large teapot for one with a small cup made for many refills.
Prices were fair (22-24 for the Benny's, 22 for the pancakes).
Would go again.
I usually order the same thing everytime I come here so I can't speak for any other dish other than the hot fudge dessert and oreo shake (which hadn't been delivered yet), but this place is consistently good. I understand other people have had bad experiences but I've never had a bad service. Its not always great as sometimes I feel theyre tired and want to go home but theyre always respectful. With that said, I planning coming back to get the same thing
Service was generally good, atmosphere was reasonable, and there was lots of space when we went. On the brunch menu, plenty of meals come with complimentary tea and toast, which is very handy. The portion sizes are large. The value for money here is fantastic.
Was feeling a bit hungry so had a quick google and it showed this place was open 24/7 so off we went at midnight and the place was packed. Quickly joined then line and was seated in 10 minutes and had our food not long after l. Staff were great food was good pattys could be better but all in all was a satisfying feed
The beautiful thing about this place is that it's 24/7 and caters for any budget and diner. I loved my food and monkey bowl cheese sauce. Drinks are great and staff are friendly and welcoming.
Consistently decent food, their standards have been maintained for many years and still a good goto any time of the night or day when you want a feed and can’t be bothered cooking! 😀
Weighing up affordability and quality, the food here can't be beaten. You pay for a hearty meal and that's what you get. I ordered the apricot chicken with the white sauce and chips, and the chicken was cooked to absolute perfection. They're not stingey with the sauces and we were too full to order desert. For two adults ordering drinks and a meal, we paid about $37 each which is unheard of in this economy. Some people turn their noses up at Denny's but if you're wanting a good and filling meal at any time of the day or night, they're your best bet. It only got a four though because even though it's definitely family friendly, it seemed a bit dirty and run-down and it smelled like cigarettes.

Hadn't been to Dennys for a few years, but enjoyed my meal there on 9.1.2022. I had a satay roll then chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert plus a mango smoothie. They were all fresh and delicious and we didn't have to wait long for our food. My sister had a pancake stack with butter, some spring rolls, a chocolate milk shake and a coke. She didn't complain so it must have been delicious.
