No. 8 Restaurant & Bar

Good location and plenty of space. I was quite hopeful about this place but a few things let us down. Menu wasn’t updated and the duck noodles which we wanted to try was no longer available. Normally, wait staff will tell this when they give the menu. Then we had 4 pieces of soft shell crab for $30 main, quite pricey for the serving. And only when we were about to pay, we were told there was a holiday surcharge. Not a big thing but I would have preferred to know in advance not when I’m about to pay. These are minor things that can be improved. Would still give them another next time.

Had a relaxed afternoon here, tried three of the starters all were very yummy! Thinking of going back for dinner. Amazing setup, interior, & staff a real easy dining experience.

We came for dinner last night and received Absolutely amazing service as soon as we arrived up until leaving! The food was just beautiful and the cheesecake was exceptional! The cocktails the bartender made were also amazing! Would HIGHLY recommend! So far the best restaurant we’ve visited in the mount :)

I got to say I was thoroughly impressed at the whole experience at this restaurant. As soon as we arrived we were only reading the outside display menu and was greeted by a well mannered, properly presented gentleman who had welcoming and friendly charismatic with full knowledge of the menu. So just from the greeting it got my group and I in a relaxed joyful state. Once seated at friendly waitress with a smile came over promptly with menus and glasses or water for us. Whilst waiting for our meals which was only about a 15min wait. The same gentleman from the start came over offering us a free beer because he had to take a photo with it for marketing purposes - win/win. The meals themselves were something to highly appreciate. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to someone that doesn't think about all the flavours they are eating and just want the food to get from plate to stomach. the quantity of the dishes weren't large enough to fill a grown man but the quality in the food was so good that I ordered a second dish anyway. (they also say on their menu that they encourage more dishes than people for the sharing experience), Because I promise you that you want to try them all. Every dish was incredible!! I was also told that their menu is updated weekly creating great returning value to the place. Overall the customer service was close on outstanding and the food so memorable that I had to write my first ever. Brilliant

Wow!!! We are so lucky to have a up market restaurant in down town mount. So proud to take my friends from out of town for lunch. Interior is amazing, food is amazing, cocktails are BEYOND amazing!! Definitely the best menu in town. . Also, the staff how to provided great service.
