If you are visiting Napier, this is truly a worthwhile go to! We have been there twice and always greeted with open arms and good vibes. The drinks are insane, creative and appealing to the eye!me The bar snacks are mouth watering and worthy of any fine dining experience. I know I’ll be going back soon. But please book first as you don’t want to miss out!

The most amazing cocktail place I have ever been to!!! Drink creators were amazing. I didn't even order something off the menu, I just told them what I liked and they made a drink for me which was exquisite! Yes the drinks are expensive but you go to this plane for the experience!! Which is truly magical

There's loads of neat stuff to do in Napier, but Teresa is worth the trip alone. European quality and flair without pretentiousness. Best bar in New Zealand.

After reading an article about Napier, we decided to try the "speakeasy" they talked about:Teresa. The entrance is through the deli "Harvest", we missed the first time. It's a small, cosy cocktail bar with an interesting list of cocktails and experienced bartenders. The first cocktail they recommended disappointed me a little bit, not because of the taste but because there was a lot of foam on top of it and no woman like foam on their nose while trying to drink a cocktail. To my surprise the bartender Josh saw that I wasn't very happy and he suggested to make me a cocktail I like. I said margarita. I'm a cocktail person and that's a very plain cocktail but it makes it easier to judge someone 's abilities. (Margarita wasn't in their cocktail list but they are capable of doing a lot of improvisations. Good ones ) The cocktail was great. What he created for my friend was perfect too. We asked for a restaurant recommendation, he suggested we eat there but we wanted a proper dinner after walking the whole day. He suggested "central fire station". People said that it is difficult to get a reservation but around 8 pm on a Saturday it was easy. So his recommendation was very helpful as well. He said that he never watched the movie "Cocktail" (Tom Cruise), I found this funny. If you're a solo traveller, this place is perfect because you can sit at the bar, watch them and chat. I suggest that before ordering something just by reading the description, talk to the bartenders. And if you have a cocktail you like, even if it's not on the list they'd probably make it for you. $21 per cocktail.

This place is amazing! Its a little places through a deli with cocktails, food, snacks and great ambience. You walk through and its hustle bustle with just 4 tables and a bar. The cocktail menu is extremely interesting with fun entertaining drinks and you can tell the staff is having a great time. Each drink is unique from edible glitter to carrot air to aroma bubbles. A must visit!! Thanks team and host Sara!

A real cocktail bar with a reasonable level of music. (You can hear each other when you talk.) Very good bartenders. Cocktail list changes. I tried Velocita. Them they suggested "those who go" that's a fabulous cocktail. I like bartenders that communicate, so if you are a solo traveller, just try Teresa and sit at the bar. One of the best cocktail Bars in New Zealand in my experience. Around $20 per cocktail.

What a gorgeous little bar. It feels like a thrill to visit here, hidden behind the door in the back of a deli. The bar itself is beautiful and the drinks list a real adventure. The special cocktails are very tasty and you can tell the staff have real passion in what they're creating. Good little food menu as well! Extra big thanks to Sarah for being such a delight!

Perfect addition to the wine-filled country. Teresa is something, I’m sure, the locals wanted for a while - a cocktail bar that feels like you’re somewhere else. Drinks are world class, with a side of fun and the team are very knowledgeable but stay on your level. It’s a great spot to meet and chat with locals but make sure you are prepared for the waiting list, as the bar is small and always full. A must visit when in Hawkes Bay.
