I am from Wellington and we don't have it here. So I go there whenever I visit Palmerston North. I loved their jeam beam 1/3 beef burger. Loved pickle, beet root and chillies. Chips were beautiful too. I wish we have it in Wellington. One thing missing is smile from staff :-) Recommended!
Clean and tide place, open till midnight. The girls working were singing while working, I didn't mind that. Same as other branches except they don't have the salad stand.
I love Carl's jr the best burgers you'll ever taste.. Excellent service.. Great atmosphere.. Friendly staff.. The burgers are so yummy and delicious.
09-AUG-15 : As far as burger places goes, Carl's Jr is up there. Just wish they were in Australia. Enjoyed the Monster Breakfast Toasted Sandwich combo which includes coffee and Hash Rounds today. Yum!

My fiancee and I live in Wellington so drove up especially one weekend to try out the burger that was being advertised for a limited time. I can't recall it's exact title but it had bourbon sauce. So I had that and it was just divine. My fiancee had the avocado or guacamole thickburger (photos added), which was also just as good. We both had fries which didn't initially look much different from the likes of McDonald's or Burger King (and aren't usually something I favour) but these ones had a different, rather pleasant potato skin flavour. We just had standard soft drinks but from what we saw of the milkshakes, are tempted to try them next time. We did try the chilli cheese fries - they could have done with more chilli and cheese on them but they were tasty. I doubt we would get them again though. We didn't think the service was any better or worse than any other such store of its type so don't really have anything to say there. We don't really expect 5-star service in a takeaway chain anyway. But the place then was relatively new, so clean & tidy, but perhaps had some inexperienced staff. The burgers are huge and delicious, which is all that matters for us... EAT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!
Great friendly service when we went in which was great as they were busy at the time. Excellent food. The burger I had was huge and chips very tasty. Makes McDonalds and Burger King burgers look really sad.I highly recommend them and will be going back soon!
Had the bourbon burger and gotta say this is the best burger I've eaten in a while. Service was good too,just wish they had one of these in wgtn!
I have been to Carl's Jr twice now and both times the food and service was excellent especially considering it is a fast food restaurant it out shines the competition hands down. and there is a lot more options to choose from their cheese cakes are great. The chilly fries are nice and spicy but not over the top.
The waiters are always smiling and very quick when you ask for something. Considering the price you pay for your food it is excellent
Love the food. The taste and texture were superior than the other fastfood chain. The bun were soft. The patty, lettuce, tomato, and the sauce blended very well. The handcut style fries seasoned well. The facilities were also clean and lots of parking. They also have drive-thru.
Enjoyed every moment. Loved the Caramel Milkshake. Friendly snd fast service.
Kids always love this place! Good feed for a reasonable price, good variety as well. Soda fountain is a big treat!
Just got served through the drive-thru by such a polite young man. He was absolutely lovely and had awesome manners. His service was all round amazing. He had stapled my order together as to not let it spill everywhere and was super considerate. The food was nice and hot too, thank you. 🤎

Every time I always order the Double Western Large Combo I always get it with sprite with ice. Every time I order this here it is always fresh and Juicy The chips can some times not be seasoned enough but the burger makes up for it so I can't complain. The quality of food is better than McDonald's, staff are very friendly and always a fun chatty atmosphere. It's also close to loads of hotels/motels so it's quite convenient for travellers if you have the budget for it.
My wife and I had 2 x big Carls burgers once again and once again they were freecking awesome, by far the best burger in NZ.
The trick is to ask for extra sauce.

it store worker did have a mess up where we got a burger and chips for free but that's fine.

I did see someone from my class there with her boyfriend but that's a me problem more than a problem to do with the restaurant
Pretty good and much better than MacDonald's in my opinion. Service at this particular place was excellent and quite quick. We ate in and the food was well cooked, hot and tasty.
