Since coming to Palmerston north ,this is my favourite and convenient fish and chip establishment, the family run business is amazing, great friendliness ,the food is always the best, the fish fresh and the chips never fatty ,if I could have this in my diet daily I would , alas this can't be the case, but all my neighbours get together with us for fish and chip nights , SIMPLY the best you will find!

Great little family business, always accurate on their wait times , well priced quality takeaways produced in a clean and friendly premises. No complaints from me, a solid little go to :)
Very nice pineapple burger $4.80. good size fish, 3 big chicken wings, half a scoop of chips and a can of L&P for $14. All n all very nice.

Had fish and chips last night (30 Dec 22), they were not nice at all will be reluctant to go back, probably a bad time for the shop to purchase fresh fish!!
Chips are really nice here and a very clean takeaway with good service.
Chips were fresh and crispy and my chicken fillet burger was well made, pineapple is an interesting but tasty filling to be made standard throughout their range. Place has decent value.

Was visiting PN for the evening and found this place via Siri. Nice an clean inside, plenty of staff. Pretty busy, which is always a good sign. We just had basic fish and chips. The fish was really meaty and nicely cooked. The chips were lovely, best I've had for ages.
Not the closest fish and chip shop to me but it’s the one I always go too.

I see a couple of people have mentioned the waiting time but that’s obviously because they are so popular! Well worth it when I have to wait but if they tell you 15 minutes on the phone it’s usually 15 minutes!
Make sure you try the chicken fillets and the nasi goreng.
Was such a yummy experience! Came up from Wellington and we had never been to a fish and hip shop what has more then lettuce in a chicken burger 🍔 yum!!!. The buyers were just so yummy!!... the amazing Kai deals there was something in the pack we got for all our children!!... great value for money!! We will be heading up again just for this fish and chip shop!
