We ordered vindaloo chicken and asked them to make it spicy since we were craving for some nice Indian spicy food and they lived up to our expectations. Loved the curry and garlic naan was so soft. They offered us complimentary rice which was a good gesture.
Loved the authentic Indian food. Also spoke to the Indian chefs there. They were extremely friendly and willing to take feedback. Thats a good gesture.
Small samosas were very tasty as starters and in the main course I loved corn palak vegetable. Must try !!
It is on the 1st floor so the view from windows is cool. Interiors are classy red and royal Indian style.
Walk in and the ambience is really good. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful (at least the guy serving me was)
The first time I went, I ordered Jalfrazie and Onion Kulcha's, it was amazing. I had ordered Indian hot and was pleased that the food served had the right amount of spice and flavours. Kulcha's were soft and freshly made. I had a hearty mean.
The second time was Biryani day, again the dish was made to perfection.
If you do not want to risk different dishes that your taste buds might not like, place orders from The Spice Room specialities, you shall not go wrong. My only suggestion, try something new other than Butter Chicken. !!
I somehow liked the place . We straight away ordered main course and it turned out to be exactly what we ordered . Rotis were soft and Solém who was helping us with our orders was kind to tell us about the servings . I liked the place and food !
We got a lamb khorma and a chicken tikka masala as a takeaway. Both were magnificent and we filled our bellies with this beautifully spiced food, the meat was meltingly tender and fabulous portions. Queenstown kept giving us amazing culinary experiences and this was one of them. The staff were super friendly and helpful too.
Very delicious vegetarian food we had in queens town...this restaurant is centrally located in the heart of the city...a big thumbs up......
Great Indian food with a large selection to choose from! The environment was okay; seemed to be more for the taste of good Indian food. The nan bread was fantastic, and the two dishes we got were tasty and a good price. I would come back here if I were to visit Queenstown again for sure!
The food was great, super delicious and really enjoyable. In my opinion the 'Hot' option wasn't really as hot as I thought it would be but nevertheless the Food was good all round. My wife and I got the Banquet option (which contains, 2 entrees, 1 'main' and a dessert), it was SO MUCH FOOD and I would advise either coming on a very hungry stomach or maybe sharing it with others if possible because you can't take your leftovers away. ☺️
We booked First table which made the night pretty affordable.

I tried Indian food before,but Never dining in Indian restaurant ,authentic Indian food,the samosa so good,a real and handmade dishes .
Good Indian food, spacious seating areas, reasonable prices.
Curries come with a serve of rice which is good..

We have the best experience & food! Authentic Indian that would have to be one of the best I’ve ever had!! Taran was our waiter & he was amazing! So kind, lovely & friendly! We have a one year old boy & he was entertaining him and going above and beyond to make our night perfect. Value, food & staff make this place a MUST go to!! Thank you again!
The Spice Room has delicious curry and exceptional customer service. We went here last few days before and enjoyed both our starter and main course. We tried chicken saagwalla and the flavour of it was awesome. And there menue has lots of choices to select. Would highly recommend this place!

It was a cold night, but lovely and cosy in the restaurant. Lovely Decor. Our waitress was friendly and brought out a Mix grill platter and explained to us about each one; she was very informative. When sizzling platter came it was huge and I loved the way it was presented, cooked well and served with mint sauce. Chicken vindalo and Muttar paneer were outstanding and it was perfect combination with garlic naan. We really enjoyed our meal and will go back again. Thank you! 😊
