Amazing burgers cooked over a LEGIT charcoal stove. You know it’s fo’ real, none of that flame grilled B* stuff when you bite into a beef schnitzel and watch the crisp patty with a lovely pink centre ooze glorious juice.
Perfectly done burgers with savoury cheese and lots of ingredients that scream for you to polish off every bite, this place is a must go for anyone who loves a good burger.
Kudos to the team as well and the great atmosphere. Perfect for dining in or takeouts!

Awesome pork ribs, great complementing salad and baked potatoes. Everything was made just so right! Food was well marinated and cooked to perfection with such a lovely deep flavour. Would definitely love to return!
We ordered PorkBelly it was a sandwich, the pork belly was tender and juicy
And the baked potatoes are so (damn) nice with crispy outer layer
And the price is so reasonable
They do a legendary beef brisket sandwich for $19.50 best one I've had so far, the brisket was fatty had a nice crunch from the searing

We ordered the BBQ platter. Everything was absolutely divine! 💕 The sauces perfectly match the meat. The sides were so generous too.
We had the brisket and the hamburger takeaway.
The brisket was tasty but expensive for what it is and the burger was okay.
We were full after eating so serving size is decent!
I found this place online and sifted through the Reviews. It did not disappoint. This was our last meal in Queenstown before departing to our next South Island destination. Our family had the steak & fries, burger, brisket and pulled pork. Simple but very good. Brisket is tender We paid just over NZD80 for 4 mains. Portions were good. 2 guys behind the counter. Would recommend this place to others for simple good food.
Tasty meat options that are well combined with salad / veg. Portions are on big side for most people but it was so good I managed to finish my pull pork burger:).

Addendum: Today again been there for lunch. Was informed that you can also sit outside with backrest (Oops, read my post?).
Veggie burger was good and the sandwich with sausage exceptionally good.
Food was even brought out.
Okay, I'm correcting to 5* for sunny days and 4* for rainy days. But today the sun was shining ☀️.
Nicer seating inside would still be a good investment - I'll stick with that.

I had only a small children's burger and that was already fantastic. I can only imagine how awesome the lunch with meat grilled on wood fire must be. Other burger places can learn a thing or two from this. 5*
The team is so personable. You know them only 5 minutes and you would already invite them to your home, for example for a garden barbecue. 5*
But the ambience...
I first thought we were sitting at the children's table.
Then I saw that all the tables were like this.
I don't expect much, but a backrest is the least I need to relax during eating. Here there are only small stools. That's why I didn't go back in the evening. What a waste of potential! 2*
Good to know:
There are two menus. Lunch is quite cheap, available until 4 pm.
Meat made on charcoal is available only from 5 pm.
