Great restaurant - you have to try the Spicy Fried Chicken. Walked in on Anzac day evening with no reservation and were seated immediately! Staff were friendly and took our order quickly. The table was clean.
Food was good. Ordered fried chicken and 2 chicken tacos. Higher priced for small portions but still delicious.
We were kicked out around 8.15 pm - maybe it closed early because of Anzac day?
Additional notes... no parking on site, park along the road in Takapuna or in the lot behind Katsubi. Pay at the counter after eating. No coke products available.
Loved the food and service. . We were attended to right away and timing of getting the menu , taking order and getting the food and drinks were all perfect. . Had the perfect Sunday lunch and left the place happy and full !!.
Home to the best fried chicken in Auckland , an easy spot to catch up with mates where you know the food will always be good. Highly recommend trying the cauliflower also.

An authentic Mexican restaurant which has preserved the Mexican culture and the food. 4 stars as it is bit expensive but the food is worth it. Their signature dish is Mexican fired chicken for 16 dollars. A must try dish. The place is kids friendly as well as they give color pens to draw and do bit of painting to pass the time. Good place for group upto 15 people
Margarita class is awesome. 101 on margarita. Perfect start to summer! Finger food compliments the margaritas too. Fabulous and friendly staff. What more could you ask ;)

I went here on the 3rd of Jan - the place has a groovy vibe, the customer service was very good and the food was tropical in flavour!
We ordered the fried chicken (it’s definitely a must - if you eat it with the sauces it comes with. The sauces are soooo good. I do however recommend that maybe adding extra sauce beckons for the sauce, we didn’t realise that sauce came underneath all the chicken and once we tasted the chicken with the sauce - it was fireeee!)

We ordered the pulled pork quesadillas with the dipping sauce! They were really nice! (Looked a bit dry, but they were good!)
We also ordered the lamb and chicken tacos and they were good!
The flavour in all the different types of food was very refreshing! And I could almost always taste a lime tinge on every piece of meal - which I liked!
My last and fav thing we ordered was the Xocolate brownie - OMG this! Honestly. This was probably the best dessert I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The raspberry ice, the coconut cream, the ice cream and the brownie! Wow. I can’t recommend this enough!

Ordered a Raspberry & Rhubarb drink and a beef birria. The food was super tasty as the drink was really nice but it was a shame that the tacos were just slightly smaller than I expected for the price ($14). However, the customer service was excellent and I really enjoyed the environment with my friends. 4/5
Great tasting and fresh meals with good serving sizes. Friendly team and nice restaurant environment. Definitely recommend the chicken meal.
Just here for margaritas, salsa and corn chips...had non frozen, frozen and a jalapeno version...all well made and moorish!...salsa and chips was spicy and delicious.
Great customer service. Beautiful presentation of delicious food. Very close to peaceful Takapuna beach.
